Gas Grills (164) I found the Char-Broil infrared system to be FAR better than my expensive Weber Genesis grill. I think the big factor was that the Char-Broil plates closed off the burners underneath, and that held the heat better. If there was any breeze the Weber would cool off as soon as you opened the lid. And I like to grill with the cover open (I consider it “baking” when the grill is closed. 😉
