Ask The Lowe's-exclusive Char-Broil Commercial Stainless/Black 3-Burner gas grills employ a patented infrared cooking system. Infrared heat is intense, high-temperature radiant heat, but Char-Broil's Commercial grills allow you to dial it back for low and slow roasting as well. The cast iron cooking grates on this line rest directly on top of stainless steel radiant plates that cover the entire grill area. There is almost no exposure to direct flame from the gas burners below and, consequently, very little exposure to the convection heat that can dry up moisture in foods. The result is juicy meats with no flare-ups. (Head over to AmazingRibs.com to learn more about infrared, convection heat, and the thermodynamics of grilling.)

However, the difference in price between the two, while not insignificant, does not truly justify skimping out, as this offset smoker is still a sizable investment.
Some people say it works very well for them and evens out the temperatures efficiently.
Pellet Hopper – One of the reasons we all buy a pellet smoker for is the long cooking time. It’s an automated grill, but it needs to be provided with the right amount of pellets in the hopper. Those grills are used for long, often all night long meat smoking. That’s why it’s important for the pellet container to be very big. Here you get a 40 pound hopper capacity. You can be sure you won’t run out of fuel during longer cooking.
After some additional testing, we think the Weber Spirit II E-310 is a solid successor to the discontinued Spirit E-310, so we’re making it our new top pick.
Copyright © 2017 by The Smoke Flavor. All Rights Reserved At 513 square inches, the Genesis II E-310’s grates offer roughly 20 percent more grilling surface versus the Spirit E-310’s 424 square inches. That bumps you up from 12 to 15 or so burgers for a big party, or it lets you cook an ambitious, complete meal for a large family. But although the Genesis II looks much larger than the Spirit, in reality the differences are not huge. The Genesis II is 3 inches wider (54 inches versus 51 inches) overall, and its grates are 25 by 19 inches versus 23 by 18 inches. And its left-side table folds down, so it’s actually a bit narrower in storage.
One bonus you’ll learn to love is how simple this is to clean with its ash clearout system and built in grease management. There won’t be any more spending hours pulling this thing apart and sweeping it out when you’re done using it. It’s literally as simple as pulling a lever.

This is certainly a new and improved version and in comparison to older models, it does not become stiff and brittle after the usage, which proves that the better quality of the material is used. The new polyester cover is fantastic. It looks and feels new. Let’s hope that this will last for long, although they offer 3 years of warranty. As the reviews go, the weather conditions do not influence it and the cover proceeds to fit the grill perfectly. This new cover turns to be lighter, looser, and more pliable to fit in the attached storage bag. Furthermore, it proved the ability to keep the grill high and dry. Weber grill cover does not let the rain and snow form condensate under the cover. However, the price is nearly double higher than other similar models, so let us expect that it will serve for 3-5 years, not less.

Quality – A high-quality gas grill should last you several years. The better ones on the market are usually made from stainless steel, cast aluminum or brass. These materials are corrosion-resistant and built from heavy gauge materials to last consumers a long time. If you notice that your grill is poorly made, don’t bother purchasing it as it will let you down within a couple of years.

Obie-Cue 9.5 Aside from having a proper BTU to cooking area ratio, a grill needs to be efficient. One reason that some models claim their higher BTU rating is better for cooking, is partial true due to the fact it may lack the proper amount of ventilation and design to more effectively use a proportional BTU rate. It requires high quality materials, such as stainless steel, tight seals along the hood, and proper vent placement to get the most out of your grill. Be sure to look for securely closing lids, solid metal frames, and small vents that will allow a controlled amount of airflow to keep the flames well oxygenated.
Gary Ludwig It is an environment-friendly product, which operates on natural gas. Unusually for a smoker of this price, there is a remote control included which lets you turn the smoker on and off, adjust the temperature, set a cooking timer, turn the internal light on or off, and see the meat temperature. This is an extremely useful feature that can let you enjoy your barbeque all the more.

Fri 11:00 am - 10:00 pm · October 9, 2016 Cost: $170-$250 I bought a Weber Q 220 grill (now the Q 2200 I believe) and it failed from the get-go. Weber refused to honor its warranty. After months of hassle and run around, I finally threw in the towel and sued Weber in small claims court to recover the purchase price. Weber then paid the claim in full. Based upon this experience (which was somewhat surreal by the way) I cannot recommend that anyone purchase a Weber product. In my case, they simply did not stand behind their product or warranty until forced to do so through litigation. Not a good consumer experience.
There are a few things to think about when it comes to the area of the grill you want to buy. First up, will it make the grill too big to fit in where you want it to? Secondly, how much food are you wanting to cook? Parties and social events need a big cooking area, home grilling doesn’t. Thirdly, the amount of fuel you use is dependent on the size of the grill, so if you’re cooking small amounts but on a big grill, you’re wasting precious pellets.
Most gas BBQs are designed to use propane. Technically speaking, it burns at the same temperature as butane, though butane releases more energy for the same volume. In practical terms, you'll never notice the difference. The thing that might be important, if you like to barbecue in the winter, is that propane doesn't freeze, but butane can.
