“Buy Magnetic Laundry Disc Review laundry magnet reviews”

A. Generally speaking, hot water is always the best temperature for the cleanest clothes whether you are using the Laundry System or detergent. Think about when you are washing dishes in the sink. The cold water will clean stuck on food, but the hot water will remove the food more quickly and efficiently with less water usage. It is the same in your washing machine. However, different garments and materials may require that you use lower temperatures, and you may continue to do so. We have had many customers report excellent results using just cold water with the Laundry System. For the reason outlined above, we still like to recommend hot water to users–but you ultimately have the freedom to test using the product in a variety of ways, and choose whatever option works best for your personal situation.”

Water can be “magnetized” In order to become “magnetized”, a molecule must not only be paramagnetic (contain an unpaired electron), but groups of molecules must be able to align themselves into local regions (“domains”) that amplify the effect and retain their orientation for a long time. The effect is known as “ferromagnetism” and as far as I know has only been observed in solids, the most well known, of course, being metallic iron.
Dishwasher Balls (alas, their site is down), are certainly well-described: “Composed of high molecular active substance, it does not consist of any harmful chemical elements. Anti-oversensitive it is skin-protective to hands. Stop using harmful detergent, CodeWash Dishwasher Ball helps to avoid one’s getting different kinds of common diseases such as urinary gall bladder, lowering blood count index or female blood disease increase, especially the deadly cancerous disease.”
Its not that everything you promote has issues, But the magnetic wash idea has been around for years and never stuck, except on the few that are led astray. There is a possibility I am wrong, in which case we won’t need shampoo, hand soap, toilet cleaners or washing machines, just a tub of water and magnets.
These blue balls, patented technology, are proven to be a durable, healthy and environmentally friendly alternative to laundry detergent, completely eliminating your reliance on harsh chemical detergents forever.
All of that to say – that some of this research seems to be based on a different company than the one you mentioned, but the concept seems to be the same – magnets covered by a rubber coating that you leave in your washer to wash with the laundry.
In order to get the most out of your magnetic laundry system experience, you have to work out the solution in an informed manner. It is a fact that the magnetic laundry system is bound to provide you great benefits but improper use might not just yield the kind of results that you so much need. This article ideally focuses on the major considerations that you have to keep in mind so that you can get the most out of your washing experience.

Manufacturers rarely agree on why their laundry balls work, hinting that these claims are just made up by each individual manufacturer.[3][11] Some claims are not backed by science, while others are an exaggeration of benefits.[2] Balls that contain detergents may offer more cleaning power than water alone because their ingredients are comparable to normal washing powder, but in smaller quantities. It is claimed that conventional washing powder manufacturers recommend using more powder than is necessary, and that these powders contain unnecessary fillers or fragrances.[4]

One more thing. Amway listed a ceramic washing disk in a 1997 catalog, but decided not to sell the thing after tests showed it had “no measurable impact on overall cleaning.” Figured you’d want to know.
One major vendor warns of the supposed dangers of conventional detergents (they are, after all, “petrochemicals”!) One of their pages provides links to a report from an outside testing lab that, if genuine, gives all appearances of itself having been “laundered” in that no comparisons of the effectiveness of their magnetic balls are made with non-magnetic balls (or even with rocks!), or with conventional detergents.

I just got an email about using magnets instead of detergents and bleach to clean your clothes in the washing machine. Has anyone actually tried this? We have kids and dogs, so our stuff gets really dirty. I bleach everything I can. Would using magnets destroy all the bacteria? Does it work…
Finally, even “verified purchaser” reviews on Amazon can be faked. It’s harder, but not impossible. There’s no reason why the people peddling these products can’t “buy” them themselves and then post verified purchaser reviews, or pay someone else to do so.
Hi everyone! I’ve recently read that magnets can be used instead of detergent for washing clothes. Has anyone ever tried it? I would be wonderful not having to continue dumping cleaning substances into wash water.
But on sweat stains, detergent did a whopping 14 percent better at cleaning than Crystal Wash or water. This is, in our opinion, Crystal Wash’s greatest failing: Since clothes are worn by people, they almost always get sweat stains. Unless you’re okay with wearing dingy shirts with yellowed armpits, you should stick with detergent.

In remodeling my bathroom, I needed anew clothes hamper. My colors are blue/brown so the color initially caught my eye. It came quickly and it took about 5 minutes to unfold it. Would not have taken that long except the bottoms of the inside bags that actually hold the clothes( washable) had zippers that wee a bit of a struggle to zip up. May have just been my hands because I have, rheumatoid arthritis, but I got it done. I will add that the hamper is larger than I thought. I’m sure the measurements were given, but I don’t do numbers. Lol! I love that the lid just sits on the top and is held on in the back by Velcro and folds over the front and held with a magnetic strip. So when emptying the dirty clothes, I can just remove the lid and then replace it. Easily a 5*
Suffering from back pain, insomnia, kidney stones, or any of about a dozen common ailments? It may be due to “pollution of your body by stray alternating current-induced magnetic fields.” If so, you need a {magnetic mattress} whose built-in permanent magnets provide healing “natural” (“direct current”) fields. Replete with results of “scientific” studies [unpublished, of course!] citing such gems as “62.35 – 98.94%” effectiveness rating (at “99% confidence level”) for relief of back pain. (It’s hard to get a laugh out of a class when I am discussing statistical treatment of data, but this should do the trick!)
I just heard of these “laundry magnets” last week, when I visited my ex’s house after her brother-in-law’s memorial service (and, of course, brought a bag of laundry to do since it’s expensive/difficult to do laundry where I live). Her sister had just got those magnets, and the two of them swore by their efficacy. I was intrigued, but sadly knew that any questions I might have about just HOW a pair of magnets are supposed to remove non-ferrous matter would go unanswered. Neither my ex nor her sister did well in any Science class (well, my ex passed Intro to Biology in college…), and her sister has a reputation for being what I call an “all-day sucker” – she has clutter from at least 5 different pyramid schemes filling up their house, and hasn’t made a penny from any of them.
“Experiments were conducted in a test heat exchanger system to evaluate 10 non-chemical scale and corrosion control devices. These devices may perform either by electrostatic, magnetic, electronic, or catalytic mechanisms. Chemical tests also compared results with non-chemical systems to insure the test conditions were not so severe that scale prevention was impossible. Water from a single deep well known to cause calcium carbonate scale when heated was used in all tests. The test heat exchanger was a two-tube shell and tube with steam applied to the shell side. Water flow was either in series or parallel through the two tubes, depending on the desired test conditions. No device tested significantly reduced the amount of scale formed, compared to the controls. Proprietary chemicals containing phosphorous reduced scale formation almost completely.”

Normal tap water has a pH level of about 7, whereas magnetized water can reach 7.8 pH after exposure to a 7000 gauss strength magnet for a long period of time. Cancer cells do not survive well in an alkaline environment.

It has been firmly established in the world scientific theatre that the Positive, expanding, field influence of the South Pole makes liquids more soluble (lowering surface tension); thereby hydrating, dissolving, and removing calcite and other mineral/various water by-product build-up in pipes and equipment. The Positive field hydrates all mineral build-up by de-clustering the liquid and solid pre- and post nucleated crystalline scale material. … The random configuration of a water molecules is changed to a charged and organized form with their shape & size also modified. In the process, the associations clustering around the suspended particles are broken up as the molecules line up in polarization. The fluid’s paramagnetic properties allow for more dissolved material to be contained in it due to increased efficiency of the fluid’s available space. It appears that the magnetic treatment allows the carbon dioxide (CO2) to stay dissolved in water of a higher temperature. Calcium carbonate is converted back to calcium bicarbonate. [link]

Hi Jonathan, thank you for this blog. I almost considered going for it after seeing a Facebook ad but had a bad feeling about it. My one point of confusion is how it got so many 4 and 5 star reviews from verified purchasers on Amazon. Any thoughts on the matter?

Everything you need to do is stick to a couple of the magnets in your washer….and you don’t have to worry about whatever your detergent is doing to the drain field, or also adding one more big jug to the recycling bin each week. It is the safe and all the cleaner, also replaces the chemical liquid and the powder HE detergent and the soap. This product will help with the allergies and also chemical sensitivities to the detergents. It will work under the unique means of the water maintenance through the direct application of the magnetic force. This product is the chemical free and clear. This product will work in all the kinds of the washing machines. This unit might end up in sticking together in the washing process. This product is absolutely normal and does not eradicate the effectiveness because it will emit the equal amount level of the magnetic force whether you are attracted to together or not. In this product, the laundry units only require being submerged or in the close proximity to the water for highly-effective.

The laundry ball is filled with four types of mineral-derived ceramic beads and two magnets, each performing different cleaning functions. When these components come in contact with water, they form ‘oxygenated’ water with an increased pH level and an ability to eliminate germs and bacteria. The result is fresh, safe and clean laundry! See Components to learn more about each function.

Oh, and the magnets stayed right where I put them, even with the dog bed/pillow in the wash. I was sure they were going to be stuck together or on the bottom or something. We do have a very old machine……at least 20 years old. I know the newer models sometimes don’t have metal basins anymore. It’s not an issue if they do come off though, or you can put them inside a sock before the wash starts. It doesn’t matter if they stick together.

As with anything relating to health and wellness, there is a huge “alternative health” industry that is just as avaricious as the large pharmaceutical companies in its eagerness to separate consumers from their money. Among these are the magnet merchants who promote an amazing variety of devices that are purported to offer near-miraculous relief from pain (for which there is a very limited amount of credible evidence— see below) and cures of everything from cancer to baldness. Many of these products are listed by the FDA as “Fraudulent and Deceptive Medical Devices” subject to automatic detention on import, but this has done little to reduce the availability of these items to the credulous multitudes.

I’m not one for separating items when I wash (shameful, I know).  I’ve noticed no difference in the wear of delicate items.  Same goes for wool.  I even use them with my more delicate homemade items.

I have just used two magnets that I found lying around my house.one large, messaures 2 1/2 inches, just over 6 cos and weighs 340 grams ,then two smaller ones  to try and match the bigger one in strength. The washing appears clean and fresh.however the large magnet fell off the side wall of the machine,I stopped my machine and put it into a buttoned up pocket of a shirt. This had a bad effect as it has pitted the pocket.  I also had to separate the magnets at some stage as one of the smaller magnets had stuck to the big one, before I put it into the pocket! Does that happen with the commercial magnets you buy and is it OK to leave them stuck together? I did try to buy the magnets on line, but like so many things ,products, no one ships to Namibia!!

Also…what about the people who have magnetic allergic reactions? I myself had never heard of this but one time my mother used this magnetic “sheet” under the mattress pad that was advertised to help with body aches and my Nana woke the next morning covered in hives!

In the video, they washed only the shirts in the washing machine.  This means that the magnets were free to move around the drum and bang against the shirt, thus helping to get it clean.  You could accomplish the same thing with a couple of rocks.  They didn’t test for that, nor did they compare washing with the magnets to washing with just water.

Imagine having to wash new clothing at least 5x’s or more. Even soaking them beforehand in vinegar, borax, or other products for 24 hours or more first. Sometimes I can never get the smells out, and I’ve wasted all that time and money for nothing.

The best that can be said of magnetic laundry balls is that they help agitate the fabrics, but you can accomplish the same thing by dropping a rock into the washing machine. Otherwise, these devices are worthless.

Magnetic Laundry System is highly preferable and easily available online. It isn’t available offline at any store or shop. It is easily available at a pocket-friendly price and lasts a lifetime. Yes, it does last a lifetime, as it comes with the manufacturer’s warranty of 50 years.

Laundry Magnets can be found in a variety of dimensions. Compare many items made in the United States and China. Laundry Magnets come multi-colored as well as in other colors. Laundry supplies are available in new or previously owned condition on eBay, so you can enjoy finding a bargain. Furthermore, Laundry Magnets are great for tidying your home environment.

“… the results were startling. Not only a successful wash with no detergent for the first time in my life but (did I imagine this?) I thought the results were cleaner than usual!…I have been rapturous in promoting your product to everyone I know. They are remarkable and very strongly appeal to my ecological nature.”” K.H. Thanks for being proactive enough to post this article on web…. your saved a lot od money and embarrasment on my part…. I met a guy in delhi who as he claims with the help of a website http://www.skyquestcom.com/wealth has figured a money laundering method and the product is magnetic laundry system…. thank you so much

Though our home washing machine has a metal tub, I did take these on the road with us and ended up trying this out at one of the AirBnB’s we stayed in on a trip.  The washing machine had a plastic tub.

Yes, that’s right. Magnetic Laundry System has passed numerous tests and is proven to be the most affordable and safest detergent to use. It consists of an independent lab testing report from one of the largest companies in the world, i.e, Shuster Laboratories, which has now changed its name to UL Consumer Products. The result states that Magnetic Laundry System undoubtedly cleans the clothes without damaging the colours, elasticity or the tensile strength of the clothes.

Many of the reports supporting MWT seem to be in rather obscure journals and conference proceedings. This may in part reflect the fact that water treatment is far from being a “leading edge” science— despite its importance and the fact that much remains unknown about the mechanisms of precipitation and scale formation.

As I told you in email, Judy, I do not believe in posting people’s private email without their permission. But that rule goes out the window when they make false accusations against me which their private emails disprove or say things in public which contradict things they said to me in private. Continue down this path, and you will find your emails to me published on this blog for all to see, and I assure you, it won’t be pretty. Please consider this fair warning.

Got some interesting mail about laundry balls. First, reader David Harris reported his satisfaction with the Laundry Solution, a laundry ball sold by TradeNet. “It has performed well even on the smelly dog blankets we keep on the furniture to ward of hair and dirt from a greasy Airedale,” he wrote. “Without the detergent residue, cottons are noticeably fluffier without using softener or drier sheets (great for towels).” He went on to tout the company that developed the Laundry Solution for TradeNet, American Technologies Group, which “created a coolant that is both safe and 20 percent more efficient than freon, and is working on a particle beam device to neutralize nuclear waste.” Laundry balls and particle beams! Are these guys brilliant or what?

This product has me purely amazed! As someone who has mcs, and finds it frustrating to have to wash new clothes numerous times to get the chemicals out, or used ones even MORE because of the highly scented detergents in them, this product is truly a MIRACLE product! I thought the green wash ball was good, but this blows that, and anything else I’ve ever tried out of the water! If you don’t have mcs, you might not understand the lengths we go to, to try to get our clothes rid of these toxins.

The first is the neutral smell.  Most of us are used to having everything we own smell April fresh.  Unfortunately that’s not how clothes smell on their own.  That is a chemical additive from your detergent at work.  And while it smells comfortable and familiar, once you remove it from your life for a while, it doesn’t actually smell that great.

“Magnetized water is beneficial in all cardiovascular disorders, from tachycardia, hypertension and hypertension, up to arthritis and limb paraesthesia.  The excessive sedimentation of cholesterol in the blood vessels is eliminated, resulting in a relief for the heart activity.”

Magnets attract ferrous materials (iron-based). So, unless all the dirt in your clothes is particules of iron, I can’t imagine how introducing magnets to your wash water would help get your clothes clean, much less replace the detergent.

Consider ordering the patented Wellness WaterTM Cup, because magnetized water should be “a vital part of our preventive health maintenance system” and the WWC “is the ONLY patented cup in which NORTH Polarity Faces Water!” (In case you didn’t know, “North pole magnetized water infuses energy back into the body, reduces acidity of the gastrointestinal tract, controls bacteria and stimulates brain activity.”)

In fact, this website claims that WaterLiberty is just “a high-aluminum industrial water clarifier. It’s designed to be poured into swimming pools or aquariums, where it causes the coagulation of pollutants (which must then be removed by physical filtration devices).”

Magnetic Laundry System is an innovative product to support each and everyone in the world because it is eco-friendly to save water and trees for having the healthy life as well as an environment to lead the life cycle of human beings. This magnet will help you to remove the strain from the clothes with newly launched patented technology without using the single drop of harmful chemical detergents. Because generally ingredients added in detergents are used to kill the insects, if you use that clothes washed with harmful detergent, our skin may absorb the chemicals and it may create health issues like cancer or skin irritation or heart disease or whatever it may be. But when you start using this product you can get the chance to extend the life of your clothes as well as yourself to enjoy all day long without worries.

The “torque” a magnet could apply to a water molecule would be far too minute to compete with ordinary thermal motions, which would in any case disrupt any temporary orientation even if it were to occur. There is no known way of utilizing electric potentials to cause the carbonate to precipitate as aragonite.

Those are super cute!! I’m not even sure I can move on to your sprucing up the laundry posts. My washer and dryer live in the garage, and we don’t have a linen closet. (Boohooooo!) Okay, I still should organize those spaces, even if they’re less than ideal. Off to read now… 🙂

“Buy Laundry Magnets Really Work Near By laundry magnets how they work”

I’m not going to blow smoke up your you-know-what and tell you this magnet system cured that problem overnight.  But I’ll tell you what DID happen.  After a couple months of washing without detergent, the smell of his nasty gym clothes actually got better.
As a chemistry illiterate, I did fall for the ads (particularly as the ‘system’ is also sold on Amazon and has several good reviews there – but that actually doesn’t mean anything as Amazon does not represent itself as a moral compass and I should have remembered my unsuccessful attempts to get the company to remove a disgusting ‘Christian’ book that advocates whipping offspring, even babies).
Except for the LSBU source described immediatly below, most of these publications should be generally understandable by non-specialists. For more references that pertain to experiments on model systems which have appeared in the scientific literature, please see my water science page.
Sometimes it’s a matter of personal preference: I like Hunt’s ketchup and my partner likes Heinz. But valid testing of getting dirty clothes clean leaves no doubt on which method or detergent is mor effective.
^ Jump up to: a b c d e f “Ecobola: como lavar con agua”, Compra Maestra (in Spanish), OCU Organización de Consumidores y Usuarios (340), September 2009, [translation] In conclusion, the results of the Ecobola are far from those obtained with detergent. We can well attribute its “washing efficacy” to the mechanical action of the washing machine and to the temperature of the washing water… with which using this product is practically the same as washing only with water. (…) The advice of the OCU: if you want to spend less money and reduce residues, choose one of the detergents recommended in our last analysis and experiment until finding the minimal dosis that gives you good results.
A good example is the very well-written but scientifically dubious 1997 article Quinn C. J., Sanderson C. W, Molden, T.C, “Magnetic treatment of water prevents mineral build-up”, published in 8/97 Iron and Steel Engineer
With this product, you can finally get rid of those chemical detergents and seemingly “all-natural” formulas that are still laden with carcinogens. The Water Liberty Magnetic Laundry System is also meant to last – you won’t need to waste more money in purchasing more magnets because your original product is mean to last for 50 years.
The $300 pureWash and $400 Wash It systems are about the size of a large toaster oven. They mount to the wall behind and above any top-load or front-load washing machine. An inlet and outlet on either side of the devices connect them to your home’s cold water line and washing machine. Both devices also come with a power adapter that plugs into the nearest electrical outlet.
“The positively charged water (magnetized with the South pole of a permanent magnet) have a lowered surface tension as the bonding lengths between the atoms lengthen under the expanding magnetic influence. ”
Buy only the cheapest malt vinegar – which is acetic acid – you don’t need to buy white wine vinegar, cheapest cooking salt and cheapest bicarbonate of soda. In UK the value range has much less packaging and is much cheaper than any other products. So a bottle of malt vinegar is about 14p, a kg bag of cooking salt is 63p and tub of bicarbonate of soda is 37p. I buy I of salt and about 5 of each of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, each week but that is all my laundry stuff, all my cleaning stuff and most (I buy other items like essential oils and witch hazel too) of my toiletries.
I tend to use about half the amount of detergent prescribed on the detergent bottle – Mom recommended this practice; and although I use vinegar as a fabric softener, my skin is very sensitive to soap residue; and I’m aware of how many companies fudge the numbers to boost sales. Having used those laundry magnets and ended up with a clean load of laundry, I now know that I could probably skip the detergent altogether at least every other load.
According to the brand, a package of two units of the laundry system can be used for many years and aside from saving you the hassle of having to buy detergent, it can save you a great deal of money as well. The system also does not use any chemicals or harmful compounds to provide you with results. As the brand explains, with this product, you no longer need to rely upon harmful formulas that contain common ingredients such as pesticides, imitation estrogen, and other toxins. Research shows that these toxins not only lead to harm over the long term, but they are not good for your clothes either.

An article Resist the pull of magnet medicine (incorrectly cited as appearing in the Winter 2003 issue of Health Quarterly but quoted here) discusses a variety of magnet-related medical scams; see this latter link for experiences of patients who have tried magnets for diabetic neuropathic pain.
For now though, we’ll leave you with a quote from ScienceBlogs: “In other words, there’s plenty of evidence that Adya Clarity can’t do the things claimed for it and a lot of reason to worry about its safety and potential toxicity.”
“Chronic submaximal magnetic stimulation in peripheral neuropathy: is there a beneficial therapeutic relationship? Michael Weintraub, AJPM 1998 8(1) . This study suggests that magnetic foot pads may relieve neuropathic pain in some cases. Detailed paper with many references.
This is slightly less than the retail price of the magnet system, but I would be removing the chemicals from our clothes, doing the environment a bit of a favor, and after year 1, I would be SAVING MONEY.
Many magnetic-cure hucksters try to tell you that the two poles (north and south) of a magnet produce different effects, and some even offer what they claim are “monopolar” magnets. They commonly confuse magnetic polarity with electric polarity (positive and negative.) Thus one site offers this misinformation, carefully tailored to mislead the science-challenged:
* ‘Mineral’ washing balls allegedly work by using these minerals and magnets to change the properties of the water. They increase the pH balance of the water, and break down the molecules, both of which help the water be absorbed by the material, and therefore it gets right in there to clean out any dirt. * Detergent washing balls contain a tiny amount of liquid soap.
A: Yes. Honestly, nothing whitens like chlorine bleach, but there are potentially toxicity issues for the environment and health. Bleach is very harsh and damaging to your clothes as well. That said, if you don’t mind the trade-offs, you can still use diluted bleach with Magnetic Laundry System if you choose. A great alternative to chlorine bleach is oxygen bleach (like Oxiclean® and similar products) or diluted hydrogen peroxide. Borax is also an excellent natural laundry booster. Some Magnetic Laundry System owners add baking soda or white vinegar to their loads. The 3% hydrogen peroxide plus vinegar solution detailed above may be the most effective alternative method for this process.
I was leary at first, but I tried them for a week. My husband drives a dump truck and gets dirty and stinky. Lo and behold, no dirt and NO STINK!! And talk about savings on detergent. It will pay for itself in about 1 1/2 months.
The “risk free trial” offered by the site promises that “You’ll have 21 days from today to use the Magnetic Laundry System and experience the results for yourself.”  The company charged my credit card $5.95 for shipping and handling on December 1; they shipped the product to me on December 23; it arrived on December 26; and the company charged my credit card $49.95 on December 27.  Yes, that’s right, my “21 day free trial” involved having the product in my possession for less than one day.
The Magnetic Laundry System was developed for the purpose of making lives easier from the home laundry detergent user to the independent laundry services provider. Frequently identified as laundry balls, this product is much more than that. It was developed with a goal in mind of helping to save the environment, and benefit people potentially suffering from laundry detergent related chemical sensitivities.  The magnetic laundry system may also be an accurate fit for customers seeking a wash ball as well as a washing ball or eco balls, ecoball, laundry ball and even laundry magnets should also find our product to be an excellent fit for they were searching for.
Not to mention the fact that we have no way of knowing how many customers have purchased the product or how many of them are satisfied with it, since Life Miracle has not published those statistics and I assume they have no intention of doing so.
Water Liberty (Adya Clarity) even makes outrageous claims that imply the high-aluminum formula can prevent cancer, saying, “proven to remove accumulated carcenogenic [sic] heavy metals and toxins from your body by as much as 40% — cancer-causing contaminants such as mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, and more!” But the so-called “research” upon which this is based is clearly fraudulent (see below).
It sounds simple and it is, however simply waving a magnet over a cup of water will not create a cup of cleaner.  Researchers found that the position and strength of the magnets, as well as the size of the magnetic field is critically important. Their efforts led to the development of the Magnetic Laundry System, a virtually indestructible water restructuring system, that lasts a lifetime.
The Ultra-7 LaundryMaster System (U.S. $94.90) uses the “science of liquid magnets” — “stable, colloidal suspension of subdomain magnetic particles in a liquid carrier… coated with a stabilizing dispersing agent, which prevents particle agglomeration.” (Whoops! Last time I checked, the link redirected me to another page advertising “Magnetic Success” — a “revolutionary new and effortless way to lose weight and inches using the miraculous method of magnetic balancing” using a “tiny magnet placed on the wrist” that “can melt away pounds and inches in a matter of days.”)
I just got an email about using magnets instead of detergents and bleach to clean your clothes in the washing machine. Has anyone actually tried this? We have kids and dogs, so our stuff gets really dirty. I bleach everything I can. Would using magnets destroy all the bacteria? Does it work well in all… show more

“Best The Magnetic Laundry System Near Me laundry magnets”

Though I was at first VERY skeptical about the magnet laundry system, I’d have to say I’m now a believer.  While I still have to use stain removers, and occasionally bleach, I never use laundry detergent anymore.  It has saved us money, and our clothes smell as good as ever.

We’d also question just how realistic it would be to use WaterLiberty on a regular basis, since it takes several hours to decontaminate a single glass of water. With this in mind, if you were to take a bath with it, it would likely take days or weeks to decontaminate all the water you’d need, and it would be cold when the time came.

In the following examples, only a small selection of the nonsense found on MWT sites, claims that I consider false, misleading, or meaningless are denoted by “purple prose”. Because many of these fringe-science companies come and go rather frequently, it’s difficult to keep the links up-to-date. But the nonsensical claims they make seem to live on and are likely to turn up again. Links shown in {braces} are archived versions of the thankfully-now-departed.

One of the most pressing considerations that you may be thinking about is how this system works. After all, just the idea of a magnet cleaning your clothes seems ridiculous. However, there is a science behind it that has not only been tested, but proven to work as well.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has also warned that ethoxylated alcohol surfactants, such as APEs, may be contaminated with carcinogenic 1, 4-dioxane, which penetrates skin. Tests conducted in 1997 by the Washington Toxics Coalition found that supermarket or drugstore labels are more likely to contain APEs.

Does it occur to you to wonder why, if the fact that magnets can clean clothes has been known for years, there isn’t a single washing machine manufacturer anywhere in the world selling a unit which has built-in magnets to get the clothes clean? Do you think there is a vast global conspiracy funded by the laundry detergent manufacturers?

The magnets will not significantly improve the agitation in the wash. The only way to do that is not to overload the washer, and also frankly to use a front-loading washer rather than a top-loading washer, since the front-loaders achieve far better agitation with less water and less detergent.

[It] causes the naturally formed chemical associations (hydrocarbon clusters) to break apart into a single, potentiated molecular state. This single charged molecular state burns more uniformly and completely (efficiently) because the fuel has become fully atomized and ionized with oxygen.

Young I. Cho, a mechanical engineer at Drexel University, reported[⇒] a reduction in surface tension of up to 8% in hard water that had been treated by a 0.16 T permanent magnetic field; use of a 600-hz alternating field gave similar reductions. Unfortunately, this article does not provide enough information to assess the statistical validity of the results, which, it should be emphasized, do not apply to pure water. Also, this work depended on capillary rise observations, which although theoretically proportional to surface tension, do not actually measure it.

For more than fifty years, detergent makers have been collecting your money for toxic chemicals that aren’t as good at doing what our Magnetic Laundry System can do without the use or purchase of any chemicals. Detergent chemicals simply change the molecular structure of water so that it becomes “wetter” since they also know that lowering the surface tension ofthe water, allows it to clean better.

These devices, such as this one are promoted by hucksters such as “Dr.” Robert Beck and sold by the same outfits that flog food-energizers, chackra-checkers and other new-age paraphernalia. They generate short but highly intense magnetic fields that are supposed to cure everything from cancer to baldness. See here for one of Beck’s typical bloviations. Needless to say, there is no credible scientific evidence to support these outlandish claims. But if you have a sick horse, give this one a try. And here’s a super-powerful ring-shaped one that delivers 50,000 gauss, presumably to that waistline down!

“Purchase Magnets And Laundry California laundry magnet reviews”

The US Federal Trade Commission published in 1999 about laundry balls, rings and discs: “Tests show that these gadgets do little more than clean out your wallet. At best, they’re marginally better than washing clothes in hot water alone, and not as effective as washing them with laundry detergent. At worst, the products are completely useless.”[13]
Does it occur to you to wonder why there is no research supporting the claim that these magnets do anything to clean clothing? Do you wonder why the manufacturer of the magnets asked an independent laboratory to compare washing clothes with the magnets with washing clothes in plain water, and then didn’t publish the results of the latter half of the experiment?
A. The Life Miracle Laundry System® is a laundry detergent alternative only. Just like when using laundry detergent, separate products used for other functions must be used separately, like spot stain treatments, and whitening bleach products. These are separate from the Laundry System just as they are separate from detergent.

The Laundry Solution, a 21ST Century technology, promises to free us from environmentally-damaging and harsh laundry detergents. Laundry Balls are non-polluting, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, color-safe, convenient, economical, do not promote static cling and will not damage fabrics. Independent investigation reveals that they are so benign as to be virtually inert. But it’s hard to dismiss the reports of strong customer satisfaction.
The Laundry Cheat Sheet is a magnet that displays all the laundry care instructions you need right on your washer or dryer! This beautifully designed magnetic sheet will stick to any steel surface. Gr…
Though skeptical, I was excited by the concept. I could possibly greatly reduce or even eliminate my detergent use.  So there could be considerable cost savings.  Second, part of what makes clothing hold stink is that those detergents don’t wash completely out of the fibers and hold on to the odor.  So perhaps I could eliminate odors. Third, people with chemical sensitivities could greatly benefit from going detergent free.  Fourth, I wouldn’t need to figure out which detergents to buy, which ones to use for what loads, which ones changed their formulas, etc.  It would be easy to know I’ve reduced my environmental footprint, as well as reduced my mental energy in running a load of laundry.
I’m really pretty stunned that they seem to work. I have dogs, so I put sheets over the beds. These sheets get pretty grimy,so they were my test…yes, they came out fine, no trace of dog on them and smelling good. I’m going to be using them and not detergent from now on and would recommend them. The down side is they are not available in Canada, only through US Amazon. I am close to the border so had the shipped to an address there and avoid the extra shipping fee. Not sure why they are no longer available in Canada, apparently they used to be . In summation worth the investment.
HOW DOES IT WORK? The MLS System works under a unique means of water maintenance through direct application of magnetic force. The system assists the water to pull out the dirt, grease and odors from the fibers of your clothes without harmful chemicals that break down the fibers of your clothing. Water has long been known as the “universal solvent”. The MLS System incorporates powerful, specially calibrated magnetism to help alter the basic nature of water and increase its natural solvency.
In February 2011 the Spanish National Institute of Consume (Instituto Nacional del Consumo INC) ordered 14 manufacturers to cease their deceiving advertisement after testing the wash balls and concluding that they are as effective, or even less effective, than washing with water alone.[5]
There is some evidence that externally-applied magnetic fields can provide relief of certain types of chronic pain. A major difficulty in any such study is in eliminating the placebo effect which generally requires a double-blind protocol. Here are a few recent references to the scientific literature:
“I have purchased the laundry magnets. I did my first wash load this past weekend and was very pleased with the outcome. The clothes smelled clean…no chemically-induced “scent”, no chemical residues and no negative environmental impact…just clean and healthy clothes…and a clear conscience !! In a shell, I wish to thank you so much and wish you and your family health and happiness. Keep up your outstanding work and contributions.“
Another common claim is that MWT causes calcium carbonate to precipitate as aragonite, a crystalline modification of CaCO3 that is slightly less stable (and more soluble) than the much more common calcite structure. Some evidence for this has been reported in the literature[⇒]. But it is not clear that the physical properties of aragonite differ all that much from those of calcite.
“I FINISHED YOUR LAUNDRY. THE ASHES ARE IN THE FIREPLACE”. 6″ Long by 3.75″ Tall, 2 Magnets on back of Metal Tin. Great for a Refridgerator, Fridge, Metal Cabinet at the office! I wouldn’t want to mes…
Claims that commercial devices bring about significant reductions in water surface tension or lead to the various benefits that might accrue from this effect should not be taken seriously in the absence of credible performance data.
“When mono-atomic water molecules enter the body, the body more efficiently metabolizes more the singular oxygen and hydrogen atoms due to its greater availability. The greater availability of the hydrogen and oxygen provides the body with a much larger share of its requirements of these important elements and as a result, the body has shown to start functioning in a more balanced state and therefore begins to heal itself.”
Imagine your month to month water and electricity monthly bill being reduced just by using a magnetic laundry system! Another great function of this cost-saving approach is this influences the atmosphere in a optimistic way, too, through the use of significantly less vitality.
I just got a full refund on these crap magnets. I’m not getting a refund on the clothes that have baked in stains in them, now. Second, my Samsung steam washing machine now errors out during the wash cycle and have to restart the cycle. Did the magnets ruin the programming on my washing machine? Those fuckers. Where’s the class action law suit? I want to sign up.
If you have dealt with cat pee, you understand this challenge.  The stuff stinks and does not come out. It might take a few washes (with detergent) OR the use of one of those pet stain treatments.  And you definitely want to get it in the washer right away.  Well, I went downstairs and noticed the smell.  I searched around and found the culprit – a bath mat.  How long had it been there? I’m not sure.  Just a few hours, most likely.  I put the bath mat in the wash and ran it JUST with the MLS and hot water.  I kid you not, the bath mat emerged ODOR FREE.  I was thrilled.
The effect of the laundry balls may be explained by simple mechanical action and by the usage of hotter water. Some manufacturers claim that their products reduce energy consumption, but their pamphlets recommend using hot water.[4] Hot water will clean some types of spots better than cold water,[4][6] leading some people to conclude that the balls worked. The mechanical action of the laundry balls can help clean some types of spots,[4][6] but a golf ball will achieve the same effect for much less money.[2]

These strips are mechanically coated with common household substances like cocoa and red wine, and the three tests were performed with the Kenmore 25132, a top loader very similar to what’s found in a lot of U.S. homes. We set the Kenmore to its highest temperature setting and used the Normal cycle.
Shortly afterward, another reader sent us some newspaper articles reporting that the Utah state division of consumer protection had sent a couple of TradeNet’s laundry balls out for tests and found they contained, not crystal technology as claimed, but dyed water! A TradeNet spokesman says the state was testing an “earlier model.” Meaning what — TradeNet at one point thought dyed water would actually work?
“In a similar way that water conditioned by heat (hot water) carries more energy and mixes with other substances more readily than cold water, fuel conditioned by a strong magnetic field carries more energy and mixes more readily with air resulting in a more complete combustion i.e. more energy and less waste from the same amount of fuel. The process of conditioning fuel through the introduction of a specific magnetic field is known as Ionization by Magnetic Induction (IMI).” {link}
First of all, we need to dispel a commonly held myth, the myth that laundry detergents are natural soaps. You need to know that you are not washing your clothes with soaps, and you probably never have in your lifetime. Detergents are not soaps. They are actually petrochemicals derived from crude oil. Water is the universal solvent. Water is what ultimately cleans your clothes whether you use laundry detergents, or the Magnetic Laundry System. All these products do is help water to clean better.

“Best Clean Laundry With Magnets New York laundry magnets”

Numerous sites promote magnet-based technologies for improving crop production, many based on the easily-disproved fiction that magnets can reduce the surface tension of water (see the stuff on magnetic laundry balls above.) One magnet merchant makes similarly extravagant (and to me, unbelievable) claims about how their misleadingly-named “single pole technology” magnets can greatly increase crop yields, cut water use and fertilizer costs. The site provides many “comparison” photographs, “testimonials”, and mentions of “studies” too vaguely identified to allow verification. As expected, there are no references to supporting documents in the reputable agricultural or scientific literature. Statements such as
Forbes columnist Steven Salzberg and author-investigator Joe Nickell will each be awarded the 2012 Robert P. Balles Prize in Critical Thinking, to be presented by the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry at the CFI Summit in October.
Among the best pseudoscientific gobbledygook comes from this explanation of the Grander Process, in which “[t]he water to be treated is channeled (without coming into direct contact) along a concentrated fluid that has been treated with specific naturally occurring high frequency fields. This fluid serves as an organization template for the water structuring. Thus, the oscillatory composition of the water is harmonized and the water becomes more and more of a mediator for natural oscillation energy…” Say what you will about this sort of advertising, it’s legal.
One of the hallmarks of scam artists is that they are always friendly, personable, and accommodating in person. Deeply ingrained in most people’s psyches is the subconscious belief that people who “seem nice” are more trustworthy. Scam artists capitalize on this belief to make it easier to pull the wool over people’s eyes.
… but if you think chlorine is bad, consider a substance that had proven deadly to far more people: see the “Ban DHMO” (dihydrogen monoxide) Page! Chlorine, like any gas, is less soluble in hot water than in cold, so it is likely that some chlorine is released in a shower– although as one who often takes long, hot showers, I’ve never noticed it, even in places like Istanbul where the water is almost too highly chlorinated to be potable. However, it is not at all clear how a magnetic device can reduce the emission of chlorine, a gas that is completely unaffected by magnetic fields. One wonders where the chlorine is supposed to go!
Lastly, something i have noticed whilst researching “too good to be true” products (just a little tip for not getting scammed) – if you read “review” blogs/pages, and the English is a little…”off” there’s a good chance it’s fake. Go back and read some of the review pages about these magnets, and you may notice it too!
We are so used to using laundry soaps for all our washing and the magnetic laundry system seems to be the ideal solution to all our problems where we will be saved for a lot of soap related diseases!! I am sure this magnet laundry system is going to be a big hit if it has all the features that it boasts of and has all the advantages it promises to its customers!! It is worth a try and hope people using it will say about what they think about it!!
ABI, a Japanese outfit, offers a Cells Alive System (CAS) whose purpose is to improve the industrial-scale fast-freezing process by inhibiting the growth of ice crystals that tend to break down cell walls when foods are frozen. The idea is to employ a magnetic field to allow the food to be supercooled (that is, cooled below the freezing point without forming ice), and then turning off the field causing the ice to form so rapidly that only very small crystals are able to grow. A fine idea, except for the fact that I know of no evidence that a magnetic field is able to alter the freezing point of water. The CAS promotion claims that the magnetic field acts by aligning “the magnetic moment of the electrons” — which strikes me as scientific nonsense, given that all 10 electrons in H2O are paired so that the molecule has a zero magnetic moment. A 2006 article in a South African food processing magazine describes the process in more detail, but confuses the issue by invoking the use of an alternating electric field as well (which should have the same effect as a microwave oven) and making the unlikely claim that a glass of water frozen by this method will not break.
By using a magnetic laundry system you can save a great deal of money because it may be bought for any when only cost and carry on for use time and again once rather than buying detergent continually. Because of the immediate correlation in between oil costs and detergents, it is apparent that the price of a regular detergent will only improve over time.
The effects of magnetic fields on water was discovered in the early 1900’s by Danish Physicist Hendrick Antoon Lorenz.  He received the Nobel Prize in 1902 for his discovery of the effects of magnetic fields on water.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Object does not confirm that the inventions described in patent applications actually work, but rather that they could work if the claims made in the application are accurate. The fact that Marc Smulovitz managed to obtain two patents for his invention (#6,012,308 and #6,612,137, for those who want to read for themselves) indicates only that no one tried before him to patent the idea of using magnets to clean laundry; it has absolutely no bearing on the question of whether magnets actually can clean laundry.

One thing I will add, Jonathan, is that the power of the petrochem manufacturer’s and their ownership of the appliance manufacturing companies could, in fact, keep a working technology such as this out of the marketplace. The allure of the millions they make selling us petroleum-derived detergents is too much.
The truth is that you can leave out the detergent many times when washing clothes and still have them come out clean. There’s always some detergent left over in the machine, and it really doesn’t take much for clothes worn and washed as most people do – wear it today in the office, chuck it in the wash. If you’ve got truly dirty clothes (the pants you wore while mucking out a cow barn, for example) then you will need detergent, and the magnets won’t help at all. Not that the magnets help anyway, its just the left over detergent and the clothes not really needing much washing. – JRE Apr 15 ’16 at 14:36
“I have purchased the laundry magnets. I did my first wash load this past weekend and was very pleased with the outcome. The clothes smelled clean…no chemically-induced “scent”, no chemical residues and no negative environmental impact…just clean and healthy clothes…and a clear conscience !! Rather, the questions at hand are (a) do wimpy magnets like the ones you sell “influence water” in any significant way, and (b) does whatever “influence” they have on the water actually have any impact on the water’s ability to clean clothes?
If you really wanted to “confirm the information posted above,” you could have asked me, and I could have provided you with copies of the on-line receipt for my order from Powerful Life, my credit-card statements showing when they charged me for shipping the product and for the product itself, the shipping label showing when they actually shipped it, and the USPS delivery confirmation record showing when it arrived at my house.
Magnetic Laundry System is the best laundry detergent alternative that washes away all of the bacteria totally. This product is the really effective with the natural alternative that straight away from the 5 percent solution of the vinegar. It is the highly-powerful, specially calibrated the magnetism to allow alter the basic nature of the water and improves the natural solvency. This product is the proven which will reduce the 99% of the bacteria, 80% of the germs, and 82% of the mold. Here you can easily place the units in your pockets of the pairs of the pants or the single pair of the thick socks before running into the cycle. This product will completely eliminate any noise the force of the horizontal axis that may create. You never need to stick to work it properly.
The video about the magnetic laundry system popped on my computer, so I listened. Sounded interesting. I decided to do some additional internet research about this product to see what else is said about it out there. Happened across this website. Sounds like the magnetic laundry system is full of holes. Last summer I had already started making my own laundry soap. It cost me about $25-$30 to buy the ingredients. And the recipe I made last summer is still being used. And it works just as well (I think better) than store bought detergents. You can make it scent free or add a scent if you want that. This is the way to go. Waste of my time to listen to the video about the magnetic laundry system. But glad I am a savvy shopper.
In fact, this website claims that WaterLiberty is just “a high-aluminum industrial water clarifier. It’s designed to be poured into swimming pools or aquariums, where it causes the coagulation of pollutants (which must then be removed by physical filtration devices).”
The main benefit to this product is that you won’t ever need to use regular laundry detergent ever again. The Water Liberty magnets are designed to last you for years and with that quality, you don’t need to worry about spending extra money on a new system or detergent.

Magnetism is a mysterious phenomenon to most people, and even many of us who have taken a few courses in college physics often don’t feel we really “understand” it. In the 19th century, hucksters and scam artists were taking advantage of the public’s ignorance of magnetism by offering fraudulent magnetic products to treat everything from baldness to impotence, and an even wider variety of magical wonders are being hawked over the Internet nowadays.
I was leary at first, but I tried them for a week. My husband drives a dump truck and gets dirty and stinky. Lo and behold, no dirt and NO STINK!! And talk about savings on detergent. It will pay for itself in about 1 1/2 months.
Technically, magnetism works because it increases the speed of sedimentation of suspended particles in water (and other liquids) and enhances conductivity and the process of ionization or dissociation of atoms and molecules into electrically charged particles. (New Scientist, June 1992.)
I have apologized to him directly for his alleged experience, and have offered him a full and complete refund (including shipping costs) from us if he does not receive satisfaction from the reseller. We will do this even though we did not sell it to him or collect the money for this order. According to his written account, Jonathan deserves, and will receive, a full refund. Though it represents a total loss to us, we believe it is absolutely the right thing to do, and the right thing for Jonathan.
Water is diamagnetic, and magnets have no effect on water. However the thermal motion of partially charged atoms gives rise to a Lorentz field thus making the hydrogen bonds stronger when a significant magnetic field is applied.
I strongly suggest you request an immediate refund from wherever you purchased it. When you get your money back, you may wish to look into an aluminum detox to get all the aluminum out of your body that you’ve been drinking with Adya Clarity.
I would never make it in the advertising business because I’m unable to show or explain how great a product is. I also don’t force my opinions of something I like on someone else. Just because I like …it doesn’t mean you will. I AM SOLD ON NANO TOWELS! One wipe over a ceramic top stove and it’s clean and dry. I have stainless steel appliances and hate the up keep of them because it’s like having to polish your silver everyday. Used Nano and cleaned every appliance in lickety split time and they look better than having to “polish” them. I am sold and that’s no lie. See More

Instead of simply admitting that “we don’t really understand how MWT works”, most promoters of MWT devices feel compelled to peddle scientifically untenable “explanations”. But some vendors do far worse by propagating absurd nonsense about MWT and its supposed benefits. One wonders if any of clowns who write this garbage have ever actually passed a course in physics or chemistry. Some evidence that they have not can be found in the following statements taken from various manufacturers’ sites.
“It has been firmly established in the world scientific theatre that the Positive, expanding, field influence of the South Pole makes liquids more soluble (lowering surface tension); thereby hydrating, dissolving, and removing calcite and other mineral/various water by-product build-up in pipes and equipment. … Under the same magnetic molecular dynamics, the Positive Pole also de-clusters paraffin build-up in oil well or transmission lines.”
Have you know about that magnetic force? Here is the product that harnessing which incredible force and also focusing it in your home washing machine to affect the whole water. At an atomic level, all the thing is affected by magnetic. You will don’t have to buy any another set of the Laundry System units because it operates from the renewable and permanent magnetic source. It is the laundry detergents will work to clean all of your clothes, but are really non-renewable petrochemicals and create you the good health and eliminate the environmental risks and potentially avoids the poisonous chemical by-products.
Don’t order anything from this company. They are a ripoff. I placed an order with them on August 20,2017 and have never received my order. I have contacted them 4 times with no response. I have reques…ted a refund and have gotten no response. Company is a scam. See More
Consider ordering the patented Wellness WaterTM Cup, because magnetized water should be “a vital part of our preventive health maintenance system” and the WWC “is the ONLY patented cup in which NORTH Polarity Faces Water!” (In case you didn’t know, “North pole magnetized water infuses energy back into the body, reduces acidity of the gastrointestinal tract, controls bacteria and stimulates brain activity.”)
I doubt in today’s advanced chemical world that one could entirely replace chemical detergents with magnets, but one could certainly greatly reduce the need and probably use none on most loads of laundry unless they are in the habit of using other chemicals in their house that do not come out with low surface tension water.
Clever chemical companies have been telling us for years that the only way to get anything clean is with their toxic cleaner but the truth is that water is a universal solvent it’s the one doing all the cleaning, all detergent does is enhance waters already existing power.
I got news for you guys…the magnets DO WORK. Yes, customer service is a bit iffy, and it took almost six weeks for me to receive my shipment, with zero response from Water Liberty. But by golly, th…ese magnets clean even better than conventional detergents, without the harsh chemicals. I am a fan.
I’m going to be totally honest.  I was skeptical of using magnets to clean our laundry.  But after 6 months of use I am totally convinced.  But don’t just take my word for it.  There are TONS of other reviews out there.
When the perfume is absorbed by the body it can spell trouble in the form of environmental sensitivities. Some of those red eyes and runny noses are not because of allergies, but due to the perfume and detergents left behind in our clothes.
In addition, by polarizing the water droplets we increase their “free-charge”, allowing dirt to be grabbed and easily removed from the garment. When this happens, the water is considered “activated”. Along with this process, the minerals and salts suspended in the water, become activated into an “ionic” form (charged particles), aiding in the cleaning process.
Thank you so much for sharing this exchange, Jonathan. You have saved me a LOT of time by addressing all of this and sharing the outcome here. I agree with your assessment of the situation and wish to add my voice to those asking that the FULL findings of the laboratory tests be disclosed: Did the magnets clean any differently than just water? If so, why were the water-only test results omitted?

The negative field is used in most treatments to help the body heal. When a cell’s electrical charge is elevated from its stressed, improperly charged state to a highly-charged negative state, the cell’s natural ionic forces
Frankly, I am so tired of Amazon asking for reviews that I never do them anymore. But, these darn things work just like they claim and even if I was not going to be saving a lot of money, I now really like that idea of clean clothes that smell like nothing at all except fresh water. This product deserved this review.
You have no idea how much “effort and time” I have spent on this, nor do you have any idea how much time I would consider “enormous.” I’d venture to say that I’ve spent less time on this than you have.
“The water has a better taste that occurs from an actual reduction in the size of the water molecules. Compare it to a bucket full of rocks the size of pebbles versus the size of sand. The pebbles will bang around like rocks while the sand will pour like water.
If you are interested in purchasing this product from Water Liberty, then you can do so through the brand’s website. The prices range from $69.99 to $154.95. The various product options are on the site and you can opt for the one that works best for you and your laundry needs. Keep in mind that the pricing is currently at a discounted rate and there is no indication for how long the deal will last. Check out their other product called Nanotowels.
See More
Although MWT appears to be effective in some cases, the parameters of water composition, magnetic field strength, treatment geometry and flow rate that lead to satisfactory performance have never been clearly defined. Closer study often reveals that other factors (such as pH change) could account for the improvements that might otherwise be attributed to MWT.
If the Magnetic Laundry System ever fails to perform, simply send them back to us and we will repair or replace them. Warranty is voided if balls are used for any application other than laundry usage or used contrary to label recommendations and cautions..
In a several very detailed case histories, Mr. Keister concludes that in every instance, the observed reduction in scaling could be attributed to changes in operating procedures or to other aspects of water chemistry, particularly the presence of phosphates.
I struggled a bit with this one.  My husband’s gym clothes stink.  The magnet system works great for getting out all the dirt, and MOST of the time it gets the smells out too.  I found a nifty little trick though…
FYI… I havent tried these magnetic balls yet, but, it’s extremely difficult for me to accept “naysayer” credibility when the naysayers website is sponsored by traditional laundry detergent companies. NEXT.
“Hard” water has lots of calcium and magnesium, minerals that make it difficult for cleaning products to perform their jobs. If you have soft water, though, you can dial back your use of detergent. The Chicago Tribune writes, “Softened water reduces the need for detergent by more than 50 percent because it doesn’t contain the minerals that interact with the cleaning products.”
My special DHMO mixture, when added in sufficient amounts to the gas tank of your vehicle, will almost completely prevent the harmful environmental degradation caused by the oxidation of fossil fuels in the engine. As we all know, the products of fuel oxidation are responsible for much of the pollution of our precious air and water supply.
This might NOT work for folks who prefer their clothes smelling “fresh.”  I mean, these don’t come out smelling like anything. If you like a hint of lavender, ocean breeze or citrus sunshine this will not do it for you.  Also, if you are of the belief that detergent kills germs, this might not suit you.  Really, it’s hot water that does that, so you can still relieve your germ worry with this system.  And if your water is too anything (hard, soft, whatever), your results may greatly vary. All I know is this has worked very well for my family.  So much so that I am willing to give it the Productive Mama thumbs up and signed up as an affiliate.  I can only share that they are working wonderfully for US.
“A gentleman friend of mine places one of his discs in his fish aquarium (with fish)… swears he almost never has to clean and change their water. At least not as often as he used to. Fish are thriving… After shampooing my hair, I spray my hair with structured water, it DE-TANGLES, leaves my hair less frizzy… While I am running my bath water, I put the disc in the tub. I Leave it in while bathing. I Can’t believe how soft I feel after. For you ladeeeees, I spray it on my legs, no Shaving cream needed, or soap lather, The razor just glides. After washing my face, I sprits my face with the structured water, My face feels so smooth, although I still use a moisturizer.”
A good example of the kind of crackpot pseudoscience that some vendors employ to hawk their wares to a credulous public is illustrated by these quotes from a site which offers the following misinformation:
The usual schtick is that the molecules of gasoline and similar fuels are “clustered” together, and a magnet inserted in the fuel line will break up these aggregates, thereby allowing more even and efficient combustion. This is not only supposed to save fuel, but it also reduces the buildup of carbon in the cylinders and reduces pollution. Other hucksters offer devices that purport to use “far infrared technology” to achieve the same purposes. A 1998 review found virtually no convincing evidence for the efficacy of magnetic fuel treatment.
Update: My credit card company just credited me the cost of the laundry magnets including shipping which I was told not to expect. They needed proof of my mailing the laundry magnets back, so without an address to send them back to (Detergent Truth refused to give me an address or an RA# because it was past 60 days, but a scam is a scam). So I sent them to the address on the warranty card. Thanks Jonathon for the info on this site. I cited it when I described the scam to my credit card company. Too bad this company refuses to return calls or emails.
[It] causes the naturally formed chemical associations (hydrocarbon clusters) to break apart into a single, potentiated molecular state. This single charged molecular state burns more uniformly and completely (efficiently) because the fuel has become fully atomized and ionized with oxygen.
The manufacturers of these types of laundry balls claim that detergent companies around the world are in cahoots, conspiring to increase profits by stating you need to use much more detergent than you actually need, so you’ll have to buy more. These balls release just a very small amount of detergent with each cycle, said to be the real amount you need.
Can you use the magnet ball in the dryer to dry clothes etc quicker/more effectively as many times larger items such as linen can turn into a ‘ball’ and not dry as effectively. Can it assist? Is it safe?
These blue balls, patented technology, are proven to be a durable, healthy and environmentally friendly alternative to laundry detergent, completely eliminating your reliance on harsh chemical detergents forever.

These waters contain the “hardness ions” (mainly Ca2+, Mg2+, and bicarbonate ion HCO3–) in solution, often at concentrations that chemists term supersaturated, meaning that various disturbances (microscopic protuberances on the container surface, or the presence of suitable “seed” particles) will cause these ions to precipitate as carbonates, typically CaCO3 and MgCO3 (solid bicarbonates of these metals do not exist.) These carbonates, unlike most salts, have solubilities that decrease at higher temperatures, so they tend to selectively deposit out on heat-exchanger surfaces such as boiler tubes.
The regular price of Magnetic Laundry System™ by Water Liberty is $99.00 (the front-end offer on WaterLiberty.com), but today you can have it for just $57.50. Claim your discount while it’s still available! (Please check the final price before ordering as prices can vary based on various conditions.)
A further cost-saving feature of the magnetic laundry system is that it does not require the rinse cycle. Since it does not to rinse off the chemical substances from the detergent, the rinse cycle is out of date. Like a consequence, it will save each energy and water, virtually depositing money correct back again within your pocket. Provided that your washing equipment has an option to show off the rinse cycle, you can save on heating water and electrical power.

“Purchase Magnetic Detergent For Clothes laundry magnets work”

Some magnetic products claim that they “change the molecular structure of water”,[13] a pseudoscientific claim with no real scientific basis.[2] There is no such thing as “magnetized water”.[11] Water is not paramagnetic, which means that water molecules don’t align in the presence of a magnetic field.[11] Water is repelled by magnets because it’s diamagnetic, but to such a small degree that most instruments can’t detect it.[14]
This is slightly less than the retail price of the magnet system, but I would be removing the chemicals from our clothes, doing the environment a bit of a favor, and after year 1, I would be SAVING MONEY.
Given that ground-level ozone is an irritant that can worsen asthma and compromise the body’s ability to fight respiratory infections, we checked the ambient air in our test lab while the devices were in use and measured ozone levels well below the maximum limit set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
You can visit this Web site for info on how to construct your own “liquid magnetizers”, where you learn that “This device can be used for the magnetization of any liquid that you can put in bottles, one bottle can be charged positively at the same time that the other bottle is charged negatively.

Another outfit, Fractal Water, combines far-out magnetic and “vortex” pseudoscience to support the efficacy of their “Vortex Magnetic Systems” which they allege (without any real evidence) will dramatically increase crop yields. Among their more goofy scientific-sounding nonsense claims:
It is worrisome that the U.S. Department of Energy, which also looks after nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons, should have its name associated with such sophomoric science. This is likely not an uncommon result of what happens when research organizations go grubbing for government money for projects in which neither they nor the sponsoring agency have scientifically competent personnel available to review the work.
If you’re tired of using potentially toxic laundry detergent then you need a more safe and natural way to wash your clothes. The Magnetic Laundry System (MLS) by Water Liberty can help you do just that. There are plenty of benefits to choose a magnetic laundry system over chemical detergent including improving your health, skin, making your clothes last longer, and saving you money on laundry detergent.
Among those who report some type of direct magnetic-water-treatment effect, a consensus seems to be emerging that the effect results from the interaction of the applied magnetic field with surface charges of suspended particles (Donaldson 1988; Lipus et al. 1994). Krylov et al. (1985) found that the electrical charges on calcium carbonate particles are significantly affected by the application of a magnetic field. Further, the magnitude of the change in particle charge increased as the strength of the applied magnetic field increased.

But all of this is really beside the point. The point is this: as I said in my blog postings about the Magnetic Laundry System, all its manufacturers need to do to prove that it works it to publish test results from an independent testing laboratory showing that laundry washed with the Magnetic Laundry System gets cleaner than laundry watched with water alone. They had an independent laboratory perform exactly that test, but then they declined to publish the full test results.
Very analytical mind… without reading your results it was almost concluded it is a scam. Thanks for spending time on it. I use vinegar to wash my clothes, by the way. Ecologic, hypoallergenic and cleans very well.
Still, the apparent safety of the pureWash and Wash It systems doesn’t change the fact that they don’t really work better than most detergents. And that of course diminishes the money savings—which aren’t that great to begin with. For example, the $300 pureWash is supposed to last 10 years. Depending on how often you do the laundry, it would take anywhere from 8 to 11 years to use about $300 of one of our Best Buy detergents—and of course you’d have really clean clothes in the process.
On This Day in Snigglery March 10, 2000: USA Today publishes a front-page article about a woman who drowned trying to flee Cuba. The woman in the photo was still alive, and the article, by Jack Kelley, was a complete fiction. (See Trolls for more)
Stain removal depends on three things: Agitation, water, and chemistry. Anyone whose ever blotted out a food stain from a shirt in a restaurant bathroom knows that different stains require different methods of removal. That’s why we used stain strips to quantify how each cleaning agent performed.
While they won’t improve the agitation in the wash, what the magnets could do is actually damage your washer, especially if you’re using a front-loader. Since they are dense and heavy, they make it harder for the washer to balance itself properly during the spin cycles. This adds increased wear to the washer’s moving parts and will cause the washer to need repairs more often.
[link]
According to some vendors, magnetically softened water is healthier than water softened by ion exchange. Ion-exchange softeners increase the water’s sodium concentration, and this, they claim, is unhealthy for people with high blood pressure. While it is true that ion-exchange softening increases the sodium concentration, the amount of sodium typically found even in softened water is too low to be of significance for the majority of people with high blood pressure. Only those who are on a severely sodium-restricted diet should be concerned about the amount of sodium in water, regardless of whether it is softened (Yarows et al. 1997). Such individuals are often advised to consume demineralized water along with low-salt foods.
It is the laundry detergents will work to clean all of your clothes, but are really non-renewable petrochemicals and create you the good health and eliminate the environmental risks and potentially avoids the poisonous chemical by-products.
jlk, jlk, JLK!!! Thank you so much for this blog post — and you ARE hysterically funny — my problem is NOT!! I just received my “magic blue balls” in the mail today. (Ugh, gross; I fell for that??) I honestly think I ordered them online at the vulnerable hour of 4 a.m. (after being entranced by those two women talking waaay too much). Anyway — I have *no idea* how long ago I bought them — and I have a very good memory. You have argued clearly and convincingly that they are useless. As others have mentioned above, they come with no invoice, contact info, phone number — nothing. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RETURN THEM???
I just got a full refund on these crap magnets. I’m not getting a refund on the clothes that have baked in stains in them, now. Second, my Samsung steam washing machine now errors out during the wash cycle and have to restart the cycle. Did the magnets ruin the programming on my washing machine? Those fuckers. Where’s the class action law suit? I want to sign up.
Magnetic Laundry System is an incredible product that helps you get your clothes cleaned without even a single drop of toxic laundry detergent. It contains an independent lab testing report from one of the huge testing companies of the world. This product verifies unequivocally that this Magnetic Laundry System cleans all the garments, and does not damage the colours or the tensile strength of your fabrics. It is protected and tested by two patents. This product works as good as the environmentally friendly versions of pure detergent. It works on the front as well as on the top loading washers. You can bid farewell to all your worries about the toxic detergents for the rest of your life.
The difference is that detergents do it with harsh chemicals that are not good for your body or the environment.  The MLS system does it by working with the natural magnetic properties of water molecules.
The Laundry Solutions SuperGlobe “contains concentrated iETM Crystals” and “proprietary activation beads.” The SuperGlobe “is designed and intended to be used in conjunction with the SuperGlobe Booster” which is “a highly concentrated liquid with its own built in fabric softener.”
One of the most pressing considerations that you may be thinking about is how this system works. After all, just the idea of a magnet cleaning your clothes seems ridiculous. However, there is a science behind it that has not only been tested, but proven to work as well.
So I am not one to brag about products… BUT I bought The Magnetic Laundry System thru Water Liberty. I decided to “test it” using one of our nastiest mop heads out of a manufacturing plant RR. It wa…s pretty black from the metal dust and reeked of urine. (Men’s RR LOL) WITHOUT ANY DETERGENT… Here are my results. I can’t get over the difference in how CLEAN it is and smells CLEAN. Since the Earth has such a powerful magnetic field, it’s kind of strange that our clothes get dirty in the first place.  If dirt particles were pulled away from your clothes by magnets, seems like all you’d have to do is walk around and the dirt would just fall off.  Or, in the case of really dirty clothes, give yourself a good rubdown with a bar magnet.
Well, there certainly are negative comments, but it must have something to do with their shipping department or something, because I received the magnets with a short wait, and they work wonderfully. …Havent tried the nano towels yet, but the magnets do work, and if you had a bit of chemistry/physics in school, you might understand why it works. Either way, I am very happy with the results. See More
