“Buy Laundry With Magnets Review laundry magnets”

Because the Magnetic Laundry System is such a powerful cleaning system the scum from the outer tub (that you can’t see) is going to be freed when the system is in use, so before you use your Magnetic Laundry System for the first time, it’s best if you clean the residual detergent scum from outer tub of the washer.  The best way to do this is to put the Magnetic system balls in the washtub and add a gallon of white vinegar; then run a wash. You can run it empty but it’s better to put in some old towels, rags or something you don’t care much about, since these could end up being sploched with stains from the old detergent in your washer.  It’s best to repeat this procedure twice so as to completely clean out the washer in preparation of your first normal wash with the Magnetic Laundry System.
Unfortunately most of the other solutions I came across required me to mix my own homemade solution of things like borax (not the Dr Seuss character.  That’s a Lorax), washing soda, and some sort of soap.  All well and good but I am terrible about remembering to buy laundry detergent on it’s own, the last thing I need is a LIST of things to buy that I then have to mix at home.
In the following examples, only a small selection of the nonsense found on MWT sites, claims that I consider false, misleading, or meaningless are denoted by “purple prose”. Because many of these fringe-science companies come and go rather frequently, it’s difficult to keep the links up-to-date. But the nonsensical claims they make seem to live on and are likely to turn up again. Links shown in {braces} are archived versions of the thankfully-now-departed.
On the other hand Magnetic Laundry System patented with magnetic engineering, so that you can discover how you can clean a drop with out a harmful laundry detergent. It is very clear the magnetic cleaning system does not harm clothes or color or tensile power. You are able to very easily care for your self along with your family members without defending the body from harmful odors so that you usually do not come into make contact with with chemical compounds concealed inside your clothes. It is almost normal and doesn’t diminish the effect, because they emit exactly the same degree of magnetic pressure, whether or not they are typically bonded to each other or not. It works within the entrance and tops loading washers simply because it is totally safe in each circumstances. You can leave it virtually forever. Lastly with this solution you and your loved ones will likely be safeguarded from damaging results of detergents as well as other chemical soaps with out worries.
“Magnetic neuromedicine: an ‘attractive’ promise” by Frank Adams, a physician and neuropharmacologist, in the American Journal of Pain Management (AJPM), 1998;8:17-18. This article reports some positive clinical results and calls for more comprehensive studies.
Grate bar soap with a hand grater, then mix in washing soda and borax. Thoroughly stir, or for best results, blend together in a food processor. (Some use a dedicated processor for mixing detergents.) Use 2 tablespoons per load (some use more for larger or heavily soiled loads – find the right amounts for you).
This 2001 report describes a survey of 106 technical papers on MWT and presents detailed summaries of the 34 articles that were judged to meet the scientific criteria established by the group. None of these articles addressed the question of whether or not MWT or PWT “works”, nor was this judgment made by the Task Force, whose main objective was simply to bring together scientifically useful information that might inform further research in the field.

Even Florida’s Secretary of State and Al Gore nemesis Katherine Harris got in on the act, ordering “a study in which, according to an article by Jim Stratton in the Orlando Sentinel, ‘Researchers worked with a rabbi and a cardiologist to test “Celestial Drops,” promoted as a [citrus] canker inhibitor because of its “improved fractal design,” “infinite levels of order,” and “high energy and low entropy.” The study determined that the product tested was, basically, water that had apparently been blessed according to the principles of Kabbalic mysticism, ‘chang[ing] its molecular structure and imbu[ing] it with supernatural healing powers.’”
(That’s not even a complete list.) Some of these deal specifically with the Life Miracle Magnetic Laundry System and other magnetic laundry products, some of them deal specifically with the classic TradeNet “laundry balls” scam and products like them, and some of them deal with both. All are relevant, because Life Miracle is using exactly the same strategies for marketing its product as all the other laundry scams have used in the past (claims to revolutionary technology, reliance on anecdotal evidence, environmentalist appeal, etc.), and like the perpetrators of all those other scams, Life Miracle has offered no objective evidence that its product works.
As with anything relating to health and wellness, there is a huge “alternative health” industry that is just as avaricious as the large pharmaceutical companies in its eagerness to separate consumers from their money. Among these are the magnet merchants who promote an amazing variety of devices that are purported to offer near-miraculous relief from pain (for which there is a very limited amount of credible evidence— see below) and cures of everything from cancer to baldness. Many of these products are listed by the FDA as “Fraudulent and Deceptive Medical Devices” subject to automatic detention on import, but this has done little to reduce the availability of these items to the credulous multitudes.
“I was really amazed. The cleaning results were far better than expected, and more impressive considering I used zero chemicals. The NanoTowels plus water were able to completely clean my granite countertops in my kitchen, all of the tile and porcelein in my bathrooms, the mirrors and windows came out crystal clear, and they even worked cleaning wood furniture. Surprising and impressive.“
“The water has a better taste that occurs from an actual reduction in the size of the water molecules. Compare it to a bucket full of rocks the size of pebbles versus the size of sand. The pebbles will bang around like rocks while the sand will pour like water.
I can not handle the dyes and perfumes in detergents so, I use ECOS from Earth Friendly Products, Addison, IL 60101 1.630.595.1900; call from 9-3 CT/ M-F. efpclean.com and ecos.com sold at Walmart. The other one I buy is homesolv from citrasolv, Danbury, CT 06813-2597 1.800.343.6588; http://www.citrasolv.com. I also use vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda detergents such as Arm and Hammer. I react terribly to chemicals; anytime I come in contact with them I can taste them for anywhere between 1/2 a day to 2 days and I don’t wash with them because I itch so much. I urge everyone not to buy the magnets until they have actual evidence confirming their results. In the mean time try searching for detergents derived from plants.
According to the brand, a package of two units of the laundry system can be used for many years and aside from saving you the hassle of having to buy detergent, it can save you a great deal of money as well. The system also does not use any chemicals or harmful compounds to provide you with results. As the brand explains, with this product, you no longer need to rely upon harmful formulas that contain common ingredients such as pesticides, imitation estrogen, and other toxins. Research shows that these toxins not only lead to harm over the long term, but they are not good for your clothes either.
The important question here, though, is whether magnetic water treatment works. In an effort to find the answer, I conducted a search for relevant scientific and engineering journal articles. I describe the results of this search below.
Influence of altering magnetic field on chemical properties of water, scale formation and morphology was studied using polyethylene and copper pipes located both in a laboratory pilot-system and in an apartment complex formed by five different buildings each having four or five different homes. In the pilot network, magnetic field decreased calcium scaling by 15% in the both studied piping materials. Also, surface film on the copper pipe appeared to be less compact by the magnetic exposure. In the studies conducted in the apartment complex, magnetic field effectively mobilized earlier accumulated iron and copper from the copper pipe surfaces especially dealing with a hot water circuit.
I have no control over the ads on my blog. They’re selected automatically by Google AdSense based on the content of each page. And since I’ve made a total of something like $200 in the four years or so since I put ads on the blog, believe me, nobody’s paying me to run ads in support of the laundry detergent industry.
I know you’re supposed to use cold water for colors that might bleed.  And you can still do that.  But for heavily soiled clothes you’re going to want to use hot water.  This isn’t necessarily a limitation of the magnet system, it’s just that oil, dirt, grime, and grease come out better with hot water.
Except for the LSBU source described immediatly below, most of these publications should generally understandable by non-specialists. For more references that pertain to experiments on model systems which have appeared in the scientific literature, please see my water science page.
The magnetic homes that are the spine of this laundry system, had been first recorded way again inside the early last century. There is no secret powering this solution, nevertheless it is the application of the magnetism with water into the washing machine that makes this so unique in so many ways.
The most important part about a new laundry detergent, in my mind, is its effectiveness. After all, who cares how much money you saved if your gym clothes come out of the wash still smelling funky? According to the company, the MLS “is proven in authoritative independent laboratory testing to clean garments as well as chemical-based laundry detergent.” But how do you really know, unless a stain wasn’t removed from a piece of clothing?
You basically place the two magnets on the side walls of your washing machine.  They’ll hold themselves in place all while doing what they’re supposed to do.  If you’re machine has a plastic tub you can place them either into the pockets of some pants, or in a couple socks (one magnet per pocket or sock please).

P.S. And just to comment on the “Laundry Solution” link above: That was a hollow plastic ring filled with blue water. It was NOT magnetic in any way, and has NO association whatsoever AT ALL with our twice patented concept. None. This is the problem–people jumping to wrong conclusions in a very extreme way.
What is within our control is how we treat our customers. We have a number of companies who buy the product from us and retail to the consumer. Jonathan purchased the product through one of our distributors. I cannot confirm the information posted above, but I will nevertheless take his word for it.
I tend to use about half the amount of detergent prescribed on the detergent bottle – Mom recommended this practice; and although I use vinegar as a fabric softener, my skin is very sensitive to soap residue; and I’m aware of how many companies fudge the numbers to boost sales. Having used those laundry magnets and ended up with a clean load of laundry, I now know that I could probably skip the detergent altogether at least every other load.
This system recommends to utilize each hot and cold water, but it commonly prefers to use scorching water since in the event you use it with scorching water eliminates the meals much more swiftly and efficiently with less water within your washing machine. It doesn’t include any scent but it will offer thoroughly clean clothes to avoid dangerous side effects, along with other skin allergies. It provides a all-natural stain removal called Enzymatic Stain Remover Focus. It is made of enzymes – proteins which can be utilized to digest meals inside your abdomen. Utilizing the exact same concept stripped Enzymatic Stain Remover Focus works by breaking difficult stains rapidly.
I read in several places that customers had problems with returning the product, but that seems to vary according to the affiliate from whom the purchase was made. i had responded to an ad by a man named Kacper of Kacper Postawski Companies. When I submitted a request to return the product I received an e-mail response two or three hours later from ‘Water Liberty’ with instructions on how to return it. When I didn’t mail it for a few days, a company representative phoned me from British Columbia to check on the situation. I thought it only fair to let people know this.
“Thus, the water molecule being a small magnet (dipole), one may effect its magnetic (or electric) field by causing the molecule to turn or rotate in one direction or the other, taking on a positive or negative higher potential, depending on whether the S (South, positive) or N (North, negative) outside magnetic field had been applied. ”
I got news for you guys…the magnets DO WORK. Yes, customer service is a bit iffy, and it took almost six weeks for me to receive my shipment, with zero response from Water Liberty. But by golly, th…ese magnets clean even better than conventional detergents, without the harsh chemicals. I am a fan.
Don’t order anything from this company. They are a ripoff. I placed an order with them on August 20,2017 and have never received my order. I have contacted them 4 times with no response. I have reques…ted a refund and have gotten no response. Company is a scam. See More
The phrase hard water originated when it was observed that water from some sources requires more laundry soap to produce suds than water from other sources. Waters that required more soap were considered “harder” to use for laundering.
I also found another site selling the product that say it’s fabulous. I tend to ignore those if it isn’t the kind where any user can post their comments and it wasn’t. For all I know, the staff wrote the reviews.
I’m not one for separating items when I wash (shameful, I know).  I’ve noticed no difference in the wear of delicate items.  Same goes for wool.  I even use them with my more delicate homemade items.

Safe Wash not only sells laundry disks, but includes a link to the laundry-disk-skeptical World Wide Scam Network and is a member of something called the Association of Ethical Internet Professionals.
To remove stains, regular detergent enhances the water’s already present magnetic force. Now, you don’t need to use detergent to improve the force, especially when magnets are a better, more economical, and environmentally friendly solution. The magnets cause the water to pull out the dirt, grease, odors, and other compounds from your clothing, without harming the fibers. Moreover, you’ll notice that the results are just as effective or are even better than traditional detergents. As the brand explains, water is the universal solvent and now, you can tap into its power with this revolutionary and effective magnet system.
Water molecules actually repel magnetic fields, and certainly cannot be aligned by them. Even if water were paramagnetic, thermal motions in the liquid would disrupt any alignment once the magnet moves away.
In 2009 the Spanish consumer organization OCU made a study of “ecobolas” (a type of laundry ball marketed in Spain). It compared the efficacy of the laundry ball, normal detergent, and no detergent at all. It concluded that laundry balls were no better than using just water, and it recommended that consumers simply use a minimum amount of detergent.[6]
For those of us who live in apartment buildings with community laundry or who trek to the laundromat each week, this process has very few perks. The one thing I count on is being able to do all the loads of laundry I need at one time. Because I only purchased one set of magnets, I was glad I still had regular detergent on hand for the two other loads of laundry I started at the same time. It would get very pricey to purchase multiple sets!

The size and quality of this hamper is great. But beware: The color is a much darker brown in person. I tried to like it, but it was just so hard on my eyes. To be frank, it’s an ugly poop brown. 🙁 Further disappointment when I paid over $15 to ship it back on my own. Not happy and will not be purchasing from this seller again!

jlk, jlk, JLK!!! Thank you so much for this blog post — and you ARE hysterically funny — my problem is NOT!! I just received my “magic blue balls” in the mail today. (Ugh, gross; I fell for that??) I honestly think I ordered them online at the vulnerable hour of 4 a.m. (after being entranced by those two women talking waaay too much). Anyway — I have *no idea* how long ago I bought them — and I have a very good memory. You have argued clearly and that they are useless. As others have mentioned above, they come with no invoice, contact info, phone number — nothing. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RETURN THEM???
Water does have a high surface tension, but this is not what causes water to “stick together”; both effects have their origin in the intermolecular hydrogen bonding (described above.) Surface tension is the work required to expand the area of the surface. The lower the surface tension, the more readily will a liquid penetrate narrow spaces as in a fabric.
I doubt in today’s advanced chemical world that one could entirely replace chemical detergents with magnets, but one could certainly greatly reduce the need and probably use none on most loads of laundry unless they are in the habit of using other chemicals in their house that do not come out with low surface tension water.
I was just wondering last night if there is something that can be used instead of laundry detergent – even though I already use a good natural detergent. I have a question about the enzymes, though. How often do you have to buy more?
Norwex describes the Magnet Ball as a water softening device which magnetically attracts calcium  and magnesium molecules from water, and alters them in such a way so that they lose their ability to cause scale, AKA hard water build up.  It doesn’t actually soften your water, but it makes hard water act like it’s soft.

This sounded a little far-fetched to us, but we decided to keep an open mind. If it works, Crystal Wash could revolutionize the laundry industry. After all, anyone who’s bought detergent lately has seen that the price just keeps going up. Enough, already!
The brand is called Water Liberty and its cutting-edge research has developed a water technology that functions to completely clean your clothes just as well as traditional detergent. Water Liberty’s prime product is its magnetic laundry system. With this product, you’ll never need to use laundry detergent ever again. Best of all, the benefits of this product are abundant and it works great too.
These items in the box were brand new, and the urine had been on them since appx December (so 4-5 months back). I thought, this will be the acid test for these magnets. Well, there was one sock on top which got the brunt of the stain and the smell. That stain was a dark orange color it had been dried on there so long. The stain came out. All the socks had no stains now… (they were all packaged together, stacked)…. however the top one still had a faint odor. I re-washed it and it came out odor-free. Now THAT is a test to pass for sure….(note to everyone: anything I can clean and get back to the lady, I am doing it – so these socks are going back to her house after the major cleanup is done).
But the magnets stay “stuck” (magnetized) to the walls, which are metal, so there’s no friction. And they don’t change the molecular structure of water (which would be scary), but the charge. I’m no expert, that’s why I had my sister and her family try it out! And with excellent results! Placebo effect? Could be, but she has a little boy who sure dirties things. Maybe I’ll have her try doing a load minus the magnets to see her thoughts. I’ll post back my her reaction to this experiment if she goes along with it.
I’ve tried them in both top and front load washers.  If you’re using a front load unit make sure to put them in some pants pockets or a pair of socks (one magnet in each).  This will keep you from going crazy when they bump against the door during the wash.

Bruce Toback checked the claims for “The Laundry Solution” and found that “[t]he claims make perfect sense, and are in complete accord with the current state of scientific knowledge… There is not a single false claim in their marketing material. Among the best pseudoscientific gobbledygook comes from this explanation of the Grander Process, in which “[t]he water to be treated is channeled (without coming into direct contact) along a concentrated fluid that has been treated with specific naturally occurring high frequency fields. This fluid serves as an organization template for the water structuring. Thus, the oscillatory composition of the water is harmonized and the water becomes more and more of a mediator for natural oscillation energy…” Say what you will about this sort of advertising, it’s legal.

Many magnetic-cure hucksters try to tell you that the two poles (north and south) of a magnet produce different effects, and some even offer what they claim are “monopolar” magnets. They commonly confuse magnetic polarity with electric polarity (positive and negative.) Thus one site offers this misinformation, carefully tailored to mislead the science-challenged:
The only thing missing is the one thing which Life Miracle could publish only if the product actually works: the results of rigorous laboratory tests showing that clothes washed with the magnets end up cleaner than clothes washed in nothing but water.
This kind of “activation” is not yet known to Chemistry! Further, the minerals are not “suspended”, but are dissolved and already exist as ions. And the major ions of Ca and Mg tend to reduce the effectiveness of detergents.

It sounds simple and it is, however simply waving a magnet over a cup of water will not create a cup of cleaner.  Researchers found that the position and strength of the magnets, as well as the size of the magnetic field is critically important. Their efforts led to the development of the Magnetic Laundry System, a virtually indestructible water restructuring system, that lasts a lifetime.
The company states that its bioceramics increase the pH of water by 0.6 after only 15 minutes of exposure. This is important because it has been well documented that most bacteria thrive between a pH of 6.5 and 7. So by increasing the pH, Crystal Wash hopes soils will more easily wash away and that your laundry will be disinfected.

One of the main reasons why people use washing balls is because they think they’re safer to use than detergents. Many washing ball companies scare the public into using these devices, but while it’s true that not everyone gets on with every detergent, if laundry soaps really were toxic, wouldn’t we all be breaking out in red, itchy rashes? Laundry detergents like Surf excel Matic are perfectly safe to use, otherwise they wouldn’t be approved for sale, simple as that.

Cool post Carmentina. I’ve never heard of it before, but I’m going to look into it to see if it’s safe. If it is, I would love to use it since it sounds wonderful!!! If I ever try them, I will let you know how well they work. :o)
The only problem is that water sticks together. When you think of water you think of two hydrogen and one oxygen molecule, but actually water is more like 20 hydrogen and 10 oxygen. Back in the 1970’s, superstructures of water were both theorized and discovered.  The same polar nature that makes water a good solvent, causes water to stick to itself and form large superstructures. The problem is magnified in hard water where water amalgamations give water unique properties like tremendous service tension (watch a bug walk across the surface of water) and great resistance to evaporation.  These superstructures are too large and too preoccupied to be valuable cleaning agents, so the way to change the actual physical characteristics of water is to pass it by focused magnetic fields. Since opposites attract, and water acts magnetically; passing water through a series of magnetic fields pulls it first one way and then the other. The forces tugging on the individual water molecules will break up the superstructures and create smaller individual water molecules. Some people call this process restructuring. These small, polar water molecules can then slip easily into fabrics, carpets, etc. dissolving and removing dirt and stains without chemicals.
The physical process used to cause this change in crystalline structure is provided by the use of magnetic induction fields, which when exposed to moving water, interacts with the water’s electric dipole moment and applies a torque to the water molecule. The subsequent down stream effect of these coherently-oriented water molecules provides the electric potential which supplies the energy necessary to form the more complex crystalline form of calcium carbonate, called aragonite
Thousands of years ago the Chinese also noted the properties of naturally occurring magnetite. When made into the shape of a needle and floated on water, the magnetite always lined up in a north south direction! By about 1000 AD, the Chinese had developed the compass that became the key to navigation. But magnets have also been used to navigate people away from reality. In the 1800s physician Anton Mesmer had people hold onto magnetized rods to attract disease out of their body. Mesmerism, as his antics came to be called, often worked. The success of the treatment had nothing to do with the magnets, rather it was based on the belief of the patient. Magnets are great placebos. Today, magnetized bracelets can be purchased to energize the gullible. And you can buy magnetic laundry disks for insertion into washing machines to allow laundry to be done without the use of detergents. The claim is that the magnets ionize water and thereby increase its cleaning ability. Nonsense.
If letting your beverage re-align itself in a magnetic cup takes too long for you, this magnetic funnel gets the job done more quickly. Magnetic Technologies LLC makes the ridiculous claims, totally lacking in scientific support, that magnet-treated water
Advertising for these products often attacks commercial detergents accusing them of containing cancer causing chemicals and hormone disruptors. The claim is that the magnetic disks reduce health risks by eliminating exposure to these substances while also saving money since there is no need to purchase detergents. Furthermore, use of the disks prevents the release of toxic substances into the environment. That all sounds very “green.” References are given to a patent for the laundry disks, as well as to a study supposedly demonstrating their cleaning efficacy.
Although magnetically influencing water is a concept somewhat “out of the mainstream” (our patents were some of the first in the field) there has been scientific precedence to support the theory. Although it is fair to challenge theories that are new, different and out of the mainstream, it is exceedingly unfair to call them a “scam”.
I read of, and duplicated, an experiment, where three loads of laundry were washed in a machinefor the same amount of time: one with detergent, one with plastic laundry balls, and one with nothing but clothes. Results: the detergent one smelled fresh, but the laundry ball one was also unsoiled and smelled clean. Surprising results: so was the one with nothing at all. Long term result: I use about a third of the recommended measurement of detergent, and pre soak anything with stains. Also, the cheap detergent seems to work just as well as the expensive stuff. I only use a good amount of soap if I’m hand washing a garment.
As a chemistry illiterate, I did fall for the ads (particularly as the ‘system’ is also sold on Amazon and has several good reviews there – but that actually doesn’t mean anything as Amazon does not represent itself as a moral compass and I should have remembered my unsuccessful attempts to get the company to remove a disgusting ‘Christian’ book that advocates whipping offspring, even babies).

Soil Eradicator sold separately, is our citrus enzyme alternative to chemical stain removers like Spray-n-Wash.is an inexpensive, natural and chemical-free way to remove stains. To replace detergent, you need only the magnets. Soil Eradicator is an enhancement that is only beneficial or useful to remove difficult stains. That said however, you might find it worthwhile (as I do) to add an ounce of Soil Eradicator to every wash for an extra measure of cleaning and natural stain removal.
One of the claims made for residential magnetic treatment devices is that less soap and detergent will be required for washing. Compared to the claim to suppress scale formation, this claim has received little direct attention in the literature. To decrease soap and detergent consumption, the concentration of dissolved hardness minerals must be decreased. The tests by Gehr et al. (1995), described earlier, demonstrated a decrease in dissolved mineral concentration of about 10 percent. If this fractional decrease in dissolved mineral concentration is representative of that obtained by magnetic treatment, then it is unlikely that soap and detergent use will be significantly reduced. For example, given a water supply with 100 ppm dissolved hardness, magnetic treatment would only be expected to reduce the hardness to 90 ppm, assuming the results of Gehr et al. can be applied at this hardness concentration.

Wow! My sister’s been using the magnets for a week now and she’s really impressed. They even got rid of stubborn stains that wouldn’t wash out before. Ok so each order comes with 2 magnets + enzymes for stain removal. I don’t know anything about the enzymes. The magnets “stick” to the washer walls during the cycle and they basically change the charge of the water, making the clothing “lose” the dirty molecules. Apart from the obvious bonus of no longer polluting water with detergents and filling landfills with containers you also no longer need the rinse cycle, so you also save time, water, electricity and money. Another plus is no more chemical residues in our clothing against our skin! I also seem to remember they last a lifetime. They cost about $50, which seems expensive, but I think if you did the math you’d see it would pay off within about a year depending on how often you wash. It’s also compatible with bleaching, if you want to bleach. I’ve ordered some more for me and my Mom.

I did take awhile to do this review as I really wanted to use the Magnetic Laundry System.. If you cloth diaper you know that a few washes with a new detergent is not enough to get accurate results.  You need to wash and use for quite a few rotations before you begin to notice changes in your diapers from the new routine so I took this into account and really put the Magnetic Laundry System to the test before writing this.  This is why I decided that I still want to use some detergent though much much less then I used to, to get my diapers as clown as I feel they need to be.  I also feel that if we didn’t have SUCH hard water as we do in is house that there is a very good chance that we could just use The Magnetic Laundry System without any other added detergent.
The Green Bar takes a different tack — instead of structuring water, it uses “neodymium bio transmitters” which “removes the propensities of calcium and magnesium to cling to foreign objects” although a “chemical analysis of the water would detect no difference.”
The magnets will not significantly improve the agitation in the wash. The only way to do that is not to overload the washer, and also frankly to use a front-loading washer rather than a top-loading washer, since the front-loaders achieve far better agitation with less water and less detergent.
Magnetic Laundry System is an incredible product that helps you get your clothes cleaned without even a single drop of toxic laundry detergent. It contains an independent lab testing report from one of the huge testing companies of the world. This product verifies unequivocally that this Magnetic Laundry System cleans all the garments, and does not damage the colours or the tensile strength of your fabrics. It is protected and tested by two patents. This product works as good as the environmentally friendly versions of pure detergent. It works on the front as well as on the top loading washers. You can bid farewell to all your worries about the toxic detergents for the rest of your life.
While sticking a ball into a washing machine to “agitate” the clothing may work — indeed, increased agitation is the reason that the (now mostly defunct) Dyson washing machine had better performance — “Laundry Balls” have far more woo centered explanations for how they work. Some washing ball products contain “washing pearls”. These are small ceramic balls which supposedly “interact” with the washing water or release substances into the water — possibly this is an example of a homeopathic detergent.[2] Actual details of the science behind these laundry balls are few and far between, and as with most woo, when methods are kept secret, alarm bells usually start sounding in skeptical heads. Usually both types of balls are marketed as “environmentally friendly” alternatives to ordinary washing powders or liquids. They are claimed to be able to wash several hundred, up to 1000-1500 loads of wash until they should be discarded.
NESI (Natural Environmental Solutions Inc. of Las Vegas, Nev, whose Web site, thankfully, recently disappeared) offered to “Magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy” — In addition to the usual water and fuel conditioners (including a magnetic showerhead that “Has Been Proven To Consistently Remove Over 90% Of Free Chlorine”, (starting every word with a capital letter presumably makes this more authoritative!) they offered a variety of Bio-Magnets that “magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy”, such as “Plaque fighting magnetic toothbrushes” (“Get teeth whiter and eliminate unslightly build up”), magnetic coffee cups, magnetic insoles (your choice of all-north or bipolar) and a Quartz Crystal Simulator (“High voltage stimulation ideal for on the spot use” ?!) .. or, for your dog, magnetic pet collars and a magnetic pet bed.

2. The activated ceramics also emit “far infrared electromagnetic waves” which cause water molecule clusters to disassociate, allowing much smaller individual water molecules to penetrate into the innermost part of the fabric and remove dirt.
These seem to work well, and I was impressed BUT after two weeks of using them the plastic covers began to split, our machine has a metal drum with a plastic agitator, I see no reason for them to start splitting, so I have returned them…….
Don’t order anything from this company. They are a ripoff. I placed an order with them on August 20,2017 and have never received my order. I have contacted them 4 times with no response. I have reques…ted a refund and have gotten no response. Company is a scam. See More
1. Metallic elements (including copper and silver) in the activated ceramics [inside the device] release electrons which in turn produce ionized oxygen. This form of oxygen is a totally natural cleanser which breaks up dirt and organic compounds.
I’m not one for separating items when I wash (shameful, know).  I’ve noticed no difference in the wear of delicate items.  Same goes for wool.  I even use them with my more delicate homemade items.
The magnetic laundry system totally trashed my front loading washing machine. The electrics went nuts after only three washes, stuck on 1 minute spin cycle, when stopped by main switch I opened the door to find smoke coming from the machine. It was a 30 degree wash by the way.
This product has me purely amazed! As someone who has mcs, and finds it frustrating to have to wash new clothes numerous times to get the chemicals out, or used ones even MORE because of the highly scented detergents in them, this product is truly a MIRACLE product! I thought the green wash ball was good, but this blows that, and anything else I’ve ever tried out of the water! If you don’t have mcs, you might not understand the lengths we go to, to try to get our clothes rid of these toxins.
If you’ve never heard of a washing ball, or laundry ball before, let’s start with the basics. There are many different types of ball available, but they all have their similarities. Visually, they’re a small, plastic ball, disc, or donut that you throw into your washing machine along with your clothes. Technically, they contain magnets, metal beads, ‘minerals’, and some even contain a small amount of detergent. Depending on the exact type of washing ball, there are different ways in which they are claimed to work:

“It has been firmly established in the world scientific theatre that the Positive, expanding, field influence of the South Pole makes liquids more soluble (lowering surface tension); thereby hydrating, dissolving, and removing calcite and other mineral/various water by-product build-up in pipes and equipment. … Under the same magnetic molecular dynamics, the Positive Pole also de-clusters paraffin build-up in oil well or transmission lines.”
I couldn’t judge the difference from laundry washed in oxi-clean until after shower. The bath towel washed with magnets does not become smelly after drying my long hair and body. Towel washed other ways usually become quite smelly right after use, or within just few minutes. The smell means that there are lots of microorganisms harboring on the towel, and the dry towel contain much stuff for them to eat. When the towel gets wet every creature wakes up and uses the nutrients from the not-so-clean towel as food and produce bad smell. I am thrilled about the thorough cleanliness the magnets achieve. I will recommend friends and relatives to use it.
This Japanese/California company which boasts “a 100-year plan to become the largest wellness company in world history.” offers a remarkably wide range of products to the alternative-health market through thousands of independent dealers. Their line of devices relating to magnetic quackery is probably second to none. Here you can get everything from magnetic bracelets to mattresses and shower heads. Few companies do a better job of integrating multiple junk sciences for multiple species, as evidenced, for example, by their magnetic dog-bed that employs “far-infrared technology”.

Jim Zimmerman, of Life Miracle at lifenatural.com did contact me personally with detaills needed to return Laundry Magnets. So Life Miracle seems for now to be good on at least there guarantee. Got to admit, after 6 calls and as many emails, I was getting a little scared. Jim seems to be a stand up guy though.
I’m really pretty stunned that they seem to work. I have dogs, so I put sheets over the beds. These sheets get pretty grimy,so they were my test…yes, they came out fine, no trace of dog on them and smelling good. I’m going to be using them and not detergent from now on and would recommend them. The down side is they are not available in Canada, only through US Amazon. I am close to the border so had the shipped to an address there and avoid the extra shipping fee. Not sure why they are no longer available in Canada, apparently they used to be . In summation worth the investment.
I’ve made a whopping grand total of $331.45 from Google in the ~5 years since I started showing ads on my blog, across the entire blog, not just the Magnetic Laundry System postings. If you think I made up the entire thing just to attract clicks to my blog and earn a few pennies from Google, well, you’re welcome to believe that, but it’s not true.
If the Magnetic Laundry System ever fails to perform, simply send them back to us and we will repair or replace them. Warranty is voided if balls are used for any application other than laundry usage or used contrary to label recommendations and cautions..
A good example of the kind of crackpot pseudoscience that some vendors employ to hawk their wares to a credulous public is illustrated by these quotes from a site which offers the following misinformation:
Not to mention the fact that we have no way of knowing how many customers have purchased the product or how many of them are satisfied with it, since Life Miracle has not published those statistics and I assume they have no intention of doing so.
The phrase hard water originated when it was observed that water from some sources requires more laundry soap to produce suds than water from other sources. Waters that required more soap were considered “harder” to use for laundering.

In any case, I typically do 6-8 loads of “people” laundry per week, and double that, sometimes triple, of cat laundry. And it can be NASTY. In some rare cases, I toss out the item (towel, blanket, pillow, etc) because it is just too far gone to even think about putting in the washer.

Dryer balls, (if they are the blue with spikes, type) are nothing more than a rubber ball that bounces around in your clothes. The purpose of the dryer ball is to “beat” the clothes as they dry. This softens them and it DOES work.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for this blog. I almost considered going for it after seeing a Facebook ad but had a bad feeling about it. My one point of confusion is how it got so many 4 and 5 star reviews from verified purchasers on Amazon. Any thoughts on the matter?

Another red flag that we encountered during our research is that WaterLiberty appears to have been marketed under numerous brand names over the past couple years alone, including Adya Clarity, black mica extract, and mica water (among others), including different methods of using the product, as well as a variety of claimed benefits.

I urge everyone not buy the magnets until they have actual evidence confirming their results. In the mean time try searching for detergents derived from plants.

Ever since there have been cars, various schemes for achieving miraculous increases in fuel mileage have been promoted to the public. (Who has not heard the folk-fiction that somebody’s invention for running a car on water was secretly bought up by the oil companies?)

One health-quackery newsletter site attributes these claims to one Michael Pedersen, the president of Aquaspace Water Systems, laughably identified as “one of the world’s foremost authorities on water” and a company called AquaSpace.

Our results indicate that magnetic and copper bracelets are generally ineffective for managing pain, stiffness and physical function in osteoarthritis. Reported therapeutic benefits are most likely attributable to non-specific placebo effects. However such devices have no major adverse effects and may provide hope.

“Purchase Commentaries Water Liberty Laundry Magnets Texas laundry magnet reviews”

MWT works by forcing oppositely-charged ions to move in opposite directions in the water, promoting collisions of charge-pairs that result in the formation of crystallization nuclei within the water. This is the basis of magnetohydrodynamics and is known in plasmas (ionized gases) but not in liquid solutions. Dissolved ions with their hydration shells are too large to diffuse rapidly through the hydrogen-bonded structure of water.

If you’re interested in saving money, you may have looked into buying a reusable washing ball for your laundry, rather than paying out for regular detergent. After all, these magic devices ‘restructure water clusters’, create an ‘increased pH level’, last for ‘365 washes’, and ‘extend wardrobe life’, right? Actually, no. Not one of these claims is true.
Magnetism is a mysterious phenomenon to most people, and even many of us who have taken a few courses in college physics often don’t feel we really “understand” it. In the 19th century, hucksters and scam artists were taking advantage of the public’s ignorance of magnetism by offering fraudulent magnetic products to treat everything from baldness to impotence, and an even wider variety of magical wonders are being hawked over the Internet nowadays.
I’m not going to blow smoke up your you-know-what and tell you this magnet system cured that problem overnight.  But I’ll tell you what DID happen.  After a couple months of washing without detergent, the smell of his nasty gym clothes actually got better.
Thank you so much for sharing this exchange, Jonathan. You have saved me a LOT of time by addressing all of this and sharing the outcome here. I agree with your assessment of the situation and wish to add my voice to those asking that the FULL findings of the laboratory tests be disclosed: Did the magnets clean any differently than just water? If so, why were the water-only test results omitted?
The Magnetic Laundry System works under a unique means of water maintenance through direct application of magnetic force. Water has long been known as the “universal solvent”. The Laundry System incorporates powerful, specially calibrated magnetism to help alter the basic nature of water and increase its natural solvency.
I use vinegar for softener & aluminum balls in the dryer with no use of dryer sheets. No vinegar smell. If there are stains from kids, pre treat them & then wash. You could also use essential oils in the detergent.
Although magnetic water treatment (MWT) products have been promoted since the 1930’s, they have not received very wide acceptance within the engineering community, and the question of whether or not they are effective is still very much open. The widespread marketing of MWT products to consumers via the Internet has done little to settle the issue.
On the other hand, if they could develop magnets that attract dog hair, I’d be all for it.  As long as the magnets were “chemical-free,” of course.  Can’t have any chemicals around, you know.  Those things are dangerous.
The H2O molecule is an electrical dipole, not a magnetic one; it is not a magnet, and is not attracted by a magnet. Equating the S and N poles of a magnet with the [electrical] “potential” is pure fantasy.
I doubt in today’s advanced chemical world that one could entirely replace chemical detergents with magnets, but one could certainly greatly reduce the need and probably use none on most loads of laundry unless they are in the habit of using other chemicals in their house that do not come out with low surface tension water.
Magnetic Laundry System is the only pure wash it detergent-free laundry system that will save your money and also the time for consumers and have less impact on the environment. This product will allow you to maintain the laundry room cleaner, secure place and also fight against the bacteria. It will help you to eradicate the usage of any toxic chemical laundry detergent at your home and also make this world to the best place. This product is reusable and chemical-free which save your health, money, clothes and also the environment with this Magnetic laundry system. This product provide you the money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty which makes them completely risk-free for you to try this Magnetic Laundry System.

There are going to be some substances that may not be removed by such water as those substances requires specific solvents or enzyme actions to break them down or dislodge them. This is hardly proof that these do not work. Those who use fabric softeners will certainly have inferior results because those products by nature bond to and affect the behavoir of the fibers of the clothing. Those people will also have those chemicals in their brains and the brains of their children and ought to reconsider using them.
But all of this is really beside the point. The point is this: as I said in my blog postings about the Magnetic Laundry System, all its manufacturers need to do to prove that it works it to publish test results from an independent testing laboratory showing that laundry washed with the Magnetic Laundry System gets cleaner than laundry watched with water alone. They had an independent laboratory perform exactly that test, but then they declined to publish the full test results.

I am also environmentally “aware” and do my best to pick up trash, etc., whenever I can…and since I am in some wooded areas caring for feral cats, I end up with a pretty good haul of trash or recycling sometimes. So anything that can help us stop polluting the earth is an easy decision for me…especially when all you have to do is stick a couple of magnets in your washer….and no longer worry about what your detergent is doing to the drain field, or adding one more huge jug to the recycling bin every week.
I read about magnets for laundry a few days ago. I was intrigued. My daughter has a medical device.. she no longer need.. that has very powerful magnets. I used 2 of these. My washing water was filthy! These were “clean” dirty clothes. Also, there is less lint in the dryer. I’m hoping after a few washes, the water isn’t that dirty. I believe that is detergent residue from the clothes. Not sure how these with, but they do. Hth
The 1902 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded jointly to Lorentz (who was Dutch) and Zeeman for the discovery of the effects of magnetic fields on atomic emission spectra. (If Lorentz studied water, it was probably its magnetic susceptibility, which has nothing to do with magnetic water treatment.)
“How does the laundry solution [U.S. $75] work? It is structured water that emits far-infrared electro magnetic waves through the walls of the container into your water. This causes the water molecule cluster to disassociate….”
LASTS FOR YEARS. COMES WITH A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY AND AN UNCONDITIONAL 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE… One package of two Laundry System units can be used over and over again for many years. No need to keep buying expensive $20 bottles of detergent every few weeks. Great for saving money and in drought areas because you can bypass the rinse cycle since there are no chemicals, saving 20-40 gallons of water per wash and the energy to run it!
Shipping was super fast! Great service and super fast checkout! The item was a bit bigger than I expected but I didn’t take the time to measure my space vs. the size of the hamper. It’s great quality and I found a spot for it. It is a big hamper and it does indeed fit about 4 loads of laundry which is awesome! Thanks!
For more than fifty years, detergent makers have been collecting your money for toxic chemicals that aren’t as good at doing what our Magnetic Laundry System can do without the use or purchase of any chemicals. Detergent chemicals simply change the molecular structure of water so that it becomes “wetter” since they also know that lowering the surface tension ofthe water, allows it to clean better.
I started using Laundry Magnets from the day I joined it. I was wondering how to use that effectively. That is when I saw the manual which was provided by Laundry Magnets . It gave me a good overview on how to use it. To be frank, it has been the best guide which I have used when compared to the previous products used. Laundry Magnets also never disappointed me when it came to investment. It was the best product which I had bought.

¿Me estás vacilando?
– me dije.

‘Si no te conocen no existes’
