“Purchase Clean Laundry With Magnets Texas laundry magnets scam”

“More soap does not, in fact, mean cleaner clothes,” writes cleaning expert and author Jolie Kerr, at Huffington Post. “Excess suds can hold dirt pulled from clothes and get caught in areas that won’t always rinse clean, like under a collar, leading to bacteria buildup,” CNN reports.
The negative field of a magnet is used most often to correctly stimulate (potentiate) and reorganize the electron (spin) charge which results in creating the healthy cellular charge state of a strong-negative potential.
The belief that magnetic fields can reduce the surface tension of water has become almost an urban legend that is widely promoted by various magnet merchants, despite the very small amount of evidence that has been amassed during the 100 or so years that the effects of magnetic fields on matter have been studied. Owing to the intense scientific interest in the properties and structure of water, one would expect that any convincing evidence that the surface tension of water can be influenced by magnetic treatment would make its way to one of the mainline chemistry journals. So far, this has not happened; what few reports there are tend to be in rather obscure publications which deal mainly with other fields and are probably not subject to review by water chemistry experts. Two recent articles illustrate this problem:
Every cell in the human body can be viewed as a small magnetic unit. This property is present in all organs. Each cell produce its own magnetic field. Any disturbance in this magnetic field indicates a disorder. This equilibrium can be restored-with the help of magnets according to many researchers.
A common laundry problem is grease stains. The best way to pretreat these is to rub them with white chalk. You can also rub some corn starch or talcum powder into the grease. Let it sit for just a few minutes, so that the powder absorbs the grease, then wash. Works like a charm.
But we believe in fairness around here. So I’ll say this. We tested a set of laundry thingies (laundry disks rather than laundry balls, actually, but what’s the diff?) with unexpected results. But more about that in a sec.
This alignment changes what is called the “surface tension” of the water, causing it to be extremely reduced.  The “drops” of water become so small and minute, they can easily penetrate into the fabric.
Permanent magnets do not use an applied electrical current. Instead, the magnetic field of a permanent magnet results from the mutual alignment of the very small magnetic fields produced by each of the atoms in the magnet. These atomic-level magnetic fields result mostly from the spin and orbital movements of electrons. While many substances undergo alignment of the atomic-level fields in response to an applied magnetic field, only ferromagnetic materials retain the atomic-level alignment when the applied field is removed. Thus, all permanent magnets are composed of ferromagnetic materials. The most commonly used ferromagnetic elements are iron, cobalt, and nickel.
Then I also found this site in which a man bought the magnets (from the same company listed above) and did some tests of his own.  He posts an article, then the company posts a reply and this final one is his reply to the reply.    Some of it seems a little petty, but at the same time, he makes some interesting points.  Might be worth a read.
One of the main reasons why people use washing balls is because they think they’re safer to use than detergents. Many washing ball companies scare the public into using these devices, but while it’s true that not everyone gets on with every detergent, if laundry soaps really were toxic, wouldn’t we all be breaking out in red, itchy rashes? Laundry detergents like Surf excel Matic are perfectly safe to use, otherwise they wouldn’t be approved for sale, simple as that.
Free Yourself!…Laundry Detergents Are Petrochemicals Derived From Crude Oil–NOT Natural Soaps. Because Oil Has Hit Record Highs, So Has the Cost Of Detergent. You Can’t Stop the Financial Pain Of Fueling Your Car, But At Least You Can Stop “Fueling” Your Washing Machine!
At worst, the products are completely useless’. Even worse, a laundry ball can completely ruin your clothing, and render your washing machine useless. If you ever get the chance, pick up a laundry ball and have a feel of the casing. Cheap plastic, right? When that cheap plastic is spun round and round in the washing machine over and over again, it’s inevitably going to break down. And what’s going to happen when all those ceramic beads and magnets are let loose in the washer? That’s right, you’re going to end up with snagged fibres and damaged machine internals.
I’ve really been enjoying my magnets. It makes doing laundry even faster b/c you remove a whole step in the process (measuring/adding detergent). It doesn’t seem like much, but seriously, now I just toss clothes in and push start!
“Magnetic water and fuel treatment: myth, magic, or mainstream science?” This article, by Mike Powell, a chemical engineer, appeared in the Skeptical Enquirer 22(1) 27-31 1998. The author provides a few references, practically all to non-refereed journals and conference proceedings of dubious quality. Powell observes that “the utter lack of published data is revealing. According to the vendors, magnetic fuel treatment has been around for fifty years. If it actually worked as claimed, it seems likely that it would by now be commonplace. It is not.”
Magnetic Laundry System functions truly with any type of washing. Several of the equipment are produced with the plastic drum, however this magnetic system could suit plastic likewise. This magnetic laundry system operates in all the kind of devices. That’s the elegance of this system. Magnetic Laundry System is utilized in a water drum, as well as this suffices to have an absolutely no result on digital controls when utilized appropriately. Simply do not leave them on the digital control board. Additionally, both magnetic systems of the washing incorporated are the weight of simply a set of classy pants. So you do not should bother with a noteworthy included weight. There is no fragrance contributed to this Magnetic Laundry System, yet the scent after the cleaning utilizing this magnet resembles mountain rainfall as well as springtime bloom scent.
There’s not really much to the “system”.  It basically boils down to two powerful magnets that are wrapped in protective plastic. They look like a couple of blue hockey pucks.  The instructions couldn’t be any simpler.
This Japanese/California company which boasts “a 100-year plan to become the largest wellness company in world history.” offers a remarkably wide range of products to the alternative-health market through thousands of independent dealers. Their line of devices relating to magnetic quackery is probably second to none. Here you can get everything from magnetic bracelets to mattresses and shower heads. Few companies do a better job of integrating multiple junk sciences for multiple species, as evidenced, for example, by their magnetic dog-bed that employs “far-infrared technology”.

I don’t want to attack the magnetic laundry system, I just want to return the product. I been trying to find out how to properly do that. I called 2 times 3 weeks ago and just recently left 4 telephone messages and no one has returned my calls in 2 days.

Dear Gloria, I’ve been trying to learn about using vinegar & 2 tsp of salt as a laundry detergent replacement, and haven’t found any studies. Your comment gives me hope – do you have any references, or information/websites I can show my family? Thanks heaps!
Coming full circle: As I noted above, there is a trivially easy experiment you could pay an independent laboratory to do which would prove that the answers to both of those questions is “yes.” The fact that you have not had any laboratory perform that experiment, or indeed the fact that it appears that you did have a laboratory perform that experiment and then concealed the results, suggests that you are fully aware of what the results would be, and that they wouldn’t exactly help to sell your product.

Dr. Shui-Yin Lo is quoted in the IETM Crystal Overview: “These electric fields extend only a few billionths of a meter but are stronger than forces currently generated by man-made machines. We use such changes not only to grow IE Crystals, but tailor them to fit different chemical reactions.” (What does any of this have to do with Scientology? Anything?)
“The Instituto Nacional del Consumo (INC) has required the manufacturers of laundry balls (…) (also called ecoballs) to cease their deceiving publicity (…) The requirement has been issued after the making (…) of a study on 14 brands of ecoballs, made to find out the most obvious: if it’s true that they are effective to wash clothes. The results of the work offer no doubts: the laundry balls do clean, yes, but the same or even less than water.”
You can’t do a thing about out of control fuel prices, but the Laundry System can keep you from “fueling” your washing machine with petrochemicals every day, and can keep those petrochemicals off your skin and from being flushed into our water supply!

If you absolutely cannot live without scent, try using an all-natural alternative – essential oil! There is simply no reason to pile all of the other scented chemicals on your clothes. And you need to know that most of these may be unhealthy for your skin and respiratory system, so the less you use, the better off you probably are–especially if you are chemically sensitive. Some of those red eyes, rashes and runny noses are not because of allergies, but due to the perfume and petrochemicals left behind in your clothes.

Then I added a stainless soap bar (can purchase on amazon) and put it in a sock. Between the both my laundry has never been cleaner. I dont kniw what alk the fuss is. Don’t buy the product and expairment. There is nothing like DIY.
It sounds simple and it is, however simply waving a magnet over a cup of water will not create a cup of cleaner.  Researchers found that the position and strength of the magnets, as well as the size of the magnetic field is critically important. Their efforts led to the development of the Magnetic Laundry System, a virtually indestructible water restructuring system, that lasts a lifetime.
A more recent study by Amiri and Dadkhah offers a good bibliography of earlier work in this field. Their careful study, which involved direct surface tension measurements (using a tensiometer rather than capillary rise), led them to conclude that the changes they observed were likely due to the effects of impurities, and that no meaningful conclusions about the effects of magnetic fields on surface tension can be drawn from existing studies, including those of Cho mentioned above.
Note: Though the MLS System is magnetic, it does not have to stick to your drum to work. In fact many drums today are plastic, stainless or otherwise non-magnetic. They will still work in your machine. Read the directions carefully when your MLS arrives and follow them. The MLS is likely a new concept to you, so read the instructions so you completely understand it. Read the Q&A from other users in this listing as well. You can always contact us with any questions too. And remember to register your limited lifetime warranty online or through the mail.
The earth’s magnetic field naturally charges water in lakes, wells, and running streams. Water that passes through your city water treatment plant is transported through underground piping which causes the water to lose its magnetic energy; therefore treating water by passing it through a magnetic field will restore the natural energy and balance. It also rids the water of memory. There are systems available that magnetize the water as it comes into the faucet. These are known as point of use or point of discharge systems. … Magnetized water tastes sweeter and has more clarity; promotes a more alkaline pH in the body; is beneficial to wounds and burns; has a beneficial effect on digestive, nervous and urinary systems; revitalizes the body; provides positive effect on the nervous system; has been beneficial for kidney ailments, obesity and premature aging, and may help relieve discomfort. … Magnetic water controls scale buildup in pipes and plumbing. Magnetic water has a positive effect on plant growth. Magnetic water is more solvent and has a lower surface tension, so nutrients in the are absorbed more readily. Use on agricultural crops results in improved quality of the plants with a reduction in the use of fertilizer.
I was skeptical about the “magnetic process” that the company claims, and had no luck finding a convincing or legitimate answer to my queries, just a lot of repetition about “surface tension of water” without any correlation between disrupting the tension, and HOW that would aid in cleaning laundry.
I was leary at first, but I tried them for a week. My husband drives a dump truck and gets dirty and stinky. Lo and behold, no dirt and NO STINK!! And talk about savings on detergent. It will pay for itself in about 1 1/2 months.
While they won’t improve the agitation in the wash, what the magnets could do is actually damage your washer, especially if you’re using a front-loader. Since they are dense and heavy, they make it harder for the washer to balance itself properly during the spin cycles. This adds increased wear to the washer’s moving parts and will cause the washer to need repairs more often.
The magnets make excellent fridge magnets and because of the plastic coating do not mark the fridge surface. They are strong enough to hold even a large calendar onto the fridge door. Just what I had been looking for. We have also started to use them in a new game called magnetic bowls. The game involves rolling the balls along the floor and trying to push your opponent away from a pilot ball. he who is closest wins. Similar to Pétanque but different.
In tests run at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, pairing the two ingredients killed virtually all Salmonella, Shigella, or E. coli bacteria on heavily contaminated surfaces. This formulation is more effective at killing these potentially deadly bacteria than any name brand cleaner, or even chlorine bleach.
These strips are mechanically coated with common household substances like cocoa and red wine, and the three tests were performed with the Kenmore 25132, a top loader very similar to what’s found in a lot of U.S. homes. We set the Kenmore to its highest temperature setting and used the Normal cycle.
The very name “Adya Clarity” tells you its history: the product is a high-aluminum industrial water clarifier. It’s designed to be poured into swimming pools or aquariums, where it causes the coagulation of pollutants (which must then be removed by physical filtration devices).

“Find EBay Magnetic Laundry System laundry magnets”

I read of, and duplicated, an experiment, where three loads of laundry were washed in a machinefor the same amount of time: one with detergent, one with plastic laundry balls, and one with nothing but clothes. Results: the detergent one smelled fresh, but the laundry ball one was also unsoiled and smelled clean. Surprising results: so was the one with nothing at all. Long term result: I use about a third of the recommended measurement of detergent, and pre soak anything with stains. Also, the cheap detergent seems to work just as well as the expensive stuff. I only use a good amount of soap if I’m hand washing a garment.
Trend-setting magnetic laundry products have been through arduous unbiased scientific screening to determine their features and sturdiness. The very best a single has two federal government patents, which system is 1 that might really revolutionize how you do your laundry and care to your family. The days of using severe harmful toxins and petro based mostly chemicals to wash your dirty clothes can definitely be over following making use of this new system.

Magnets are not just for refrigerators any more. In fact, according to some magnet vendors, magnets can be used to improve blood circulation, cure and prevent diseases, increase automobile mileage, improve plant growth, soften water, prevent tooth decay, and even increase the strength of concrete. Some of these claims are backed by experimental evidence. Many are not. This article focuses specifically on the claimed benefits of magnetically treated fuel and water.
I have found that the skin irritation from laundry detergent is from the fragrance. I cannot be in the same room as a box of Gain detergent. I use the kind without perfume. I remember when most homes had a bar of Naptha soap for laundry, it worked great.
The MLS Magnetic Laundry System comes with a complete money-back guarantee and a lifetime warranty backed up by Water Liberty. These are built to last and if yours doesn’t then you’ll receive either a replacement or a refund.
Some manufacturers claim that the components inside their balls emit far infrared rays, which are claimed to reduce the surface tension of water and facilitate washing.[8] The claim of emitting infrared is not false, as almost all materials emit “far infrared waves” at room temperature, in other words, heat radiation.[4] It is also true that heating reduces the surface tension of water, but the effect of the radiation emitted by the balls is negligible compared to the radiation emitted by the internal walls of the washing machine or by the water, especially if it’s hot water.[4]
Washing clothes without the soap may strike you as nuts, but give it a try, at least with lightly soiled laundry. If you’ve ever washed clothes in plain water while camping you know you can get by without detergent.
Note that only the “effective” or “subjective” hardness is claimed to be reduced through magnetic treatment. No magnesium or calcium is removed from the water by magnetic treatment. Instead, the claim is that the magnetic field decreases the tendency of the dissolved minerals to form scale. Even though the dissolved mineral concentration indicates the water is still hard, magnetically treated water supposedly behaves like soft water.

Used this for about a month now, and it’s great. Each side holds roughly one to one-and-a half loads of clothes, depending on how you compact them. The lid closes nicely, and it looks a hell of a lot better than a basket of dirty clothes.
I ordered magnets, never saw them !!! as a bonus offer I directed delivery to my 75yr. Old mother. The second set at $10 cheaper. The package was supposed to contain 2 magnets for washing clothes. Ins…tead it was something like tennis balls. For $50 plus to return was a nightmare with customer service. My origional order was out of stock they claimed , but charged me for it ahead of time. I waited over 2 months , when it finally arrived I had already demanded my refund / so I returned it unopened ! Not wanting to waste time with customer service again. My mom shipped me the gift I sent her to send back at a cost of $15 , then I shipped it back at $15 so post office made $45 on this product offer of buy second set at a discount….they substituted another product to send my mom, causing total confusion & long distance to explain to her. My refund took another 30 days from my cancellation ! They use your money people !!! See More
When the perfume is absorbed by the body it can spell trouble in the form of environmental sensitivities. Some of those red eyes and runny noses are not because of allergies, but due to the perfume and detergents left behind in our clothes.
It verifies unequivocally that the magnetic laundry system does indeed clean garments and do not damage colors or the tensile strength of your fabrics.Magnetic laundry system | double-patented innovation replaces toxic detergent.
Washing soda? What’s that?: It is sodium carbonate, closely related to baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate. “[U]nlike baking soda, slightly stronger washing soda can’t be ingested; wear rubber gloves when handling it,” says Real Simple, which reports that both can be purchased at supermarkets — roughly $1.08 a pound of baking soda vs. around $1.75 a pound for washing soda. Penniless Parenting, a blog, tells how to heat baking soda to make it into washing soda.
The clothes and sheets I tested all seemed to be clean after the wash cycle, including a white pillowcase that had some leftover mascara smudged on it (ladies, you know the struggle). It was a bummer that the laundry didn’t smell fresh, but then I reminded myself the fresh smell I’m used to isn’t exactly right out of nature. So unless I start seeing a problem, or my friends stage an intervention, I’m going to assume my clothes are clean enough. Especially since I already have $75 into this new laundry system.
Norwex describes the Magnet Ball as a water softening device which magnetically attracts calcium  and magnesium molecules from water, and alters them in such a way so that they lose their ability to cause scale, AKA hard water build up.  It doesn’t actually soften your water, but it makes hard water act like it’s soft.

Unlike the laundry balls, though, which at least save you money on more-or-less worthless detergents; the fuel magnets (and magnetic air filters) appear to have no benefits to those who aren’t selling them.
You will never need to buy another set of Laundry System units because they operate from a renewable, permanent magnetic source. Laundry detergents work to clean your clothes, but are non-renewable and may create health and environmental risks by potentially poisonous chemical by-products. The Laundry System is not only renewable for your laundry, but for your pocketbook as well. No more wasting money on detergents month after month, year after year. The laundry balls are also extremely convenient and easy to transport to the laundromat.
Magnetism is a mysterious phenomenon to most people, and even many of us who have taken a few courses in college physics often don’t feel we really “understand” it. In the 19th century, hucksters and scam artists were taking advantage of the public’s ignorance of magnetism by offering fraudulent magnetic products to treat everything from baldness to impotence, and an even wider variety of magical wonders are being hawked over the Internet nowadays.
The MLS Magnetic Laundry System saves you money, helps the environment, cuts down on the amount of water you use, and is great for your health. You typically don’t need to put your clothes through a rinse cycle with the Magnetic Laundry System because there are no extra chemicals you need to rinse out. Cutting out this rinse cycle can save up to 40 gallons of water, the electricity it would take to run the cycle, and the gas used to heat the water. You also save money on softeners and static cling removers given that it is the chemicals that make your clothes stiff in the first place. Magnetic laundry systems are good for the environment because they completely cut out petrochemicals and other chemicals that your clothes would otherwise release into the atmosphere.
Technically, magnetism works because it increases the speed of sedimentation of suspended particles in water (and other liquids) and enhances conductivity and the process of ionization or dissociation of atoms and molecules into electrically charged particles. (New Scientist, June 1992.)
Thanks for being proactive enough to post this article on web…. your saved a lot od money and embarrasment on my part…. I met a guy in delhi who as he claims with the help of a website http://www.skyquestcom.com/wealth has figured a money laundering method and the product is magnetic laundry system…. thank you so much
There are so many program like Laundry Magnets in today’s market. Most of them promise the best performance. When you want to buy them, you are not sure which one to buy because most of the reviews you go through are scam. But when it comes to Laundry Magnets , it is different from others. After using Laundry Magnets, We are so impressed that we did not hesitate to give our reviews on it.
Magnetic water softeners claim that their magnetic fields can help remove scale from the washing machine and pipes, and prevent new limescale from adhering.[11] Some companies claim to remove hardness ions from hard water, or to precipitate the molecules in the water so they won’t “stick” to the pipes, or to reduce the surface tension of water.[11] The claims are dubious, the scientific basis is unclear, the working mechanism is vaguely defined and understudied, and high-quality studies report negative results.[11] The reputation of these products is further damaged by the pseudoscientific explanations that promoters keep putting forward.[11]

ABI, a Japanese outfit, offers a Cells Alive System (CAS) whose purpose is to improve the industrial-scale fast-freezing process by inhibiting the growth of ice crystals that tend to break down cell walls when foods are frozen. The idea is to employ a magnetic field to allow the food to be supercooled (that is, cooled below the freezing point without forming ice), and then turning off the field causing the ice to form so rapidly that only very small crystals are able to grow. A fine idea, except for the fact that I know of no evidence that a magnetic field is able to alter the freezing point of water. The CAS promotion claims that the magnetic field acts by aligning “the magnetic moment of the electrons” — which strikes me as scientific nonsense, given that all 10 electrons in H2O are paired so that the molecule has a zero magnetic moment. A 2006 article in a South African food processing magazine describes the process in more detail, but confuses the issue by invoking the use of an alternating electric field as well (which should have the same effect as a microwave oven) and making the unlikely claim that a glass of water frozen by this method will not break.

The Australian consumer advocacy group (Choice Australia) gave a ‘Shonky Award’ to Nanosmart Laundry Balls in October 2015, stating that they “don’t work” and that they should be renamed “Nano-not-so-smart” after testing the balls against plain water and finding they had no effect and that their scientific claims were simply untrue. Choice Australia states that they will refer the product to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for investigation over Nanosmart’s misleading claims.[24]
I read in several places that customers had problems with returning the product, but that seems to vary according to the affiliate from whom the purchase was made. i had responded to an ad by a man named Kacper of Kacper Postawski Companies. When I submitted a request to return the product I received an e-mail response two or three hours later from ‘Water Liberty’ with instructions on how to return it. When I didn’t mail it for a few days, a company representative phoned me from British Columbia to check on the situation. I thought it only fair to let people know this.
Love it. I received these magnets as a gift, and I had the same line of thinking as the author here. Glad that someone else ran the test for me. I figure, “Hey, I just got a couple of cool rubber-coated magnets to play with!” I’m not going to wash clothes with them, but it’ll still be fun. I can’t believe more people don’t stop and ask the basic questions first. It’s too bad that they tend to get a little offended and defensive when I do. I can’t believe that a company can get away with this. Thanks for bringing this to light and running it through the B.S. test for us.
The judge ruling against Trade-Net, issued in April said the manufacturers failed to substantiate their claims and hadn’t informed consumers about reports showing that the claims were incorrect.[19][20]

SDSAB: Possibly OH- ions, also known as hydroxide, could be created in this way, although not in large quantity. These would lower the water’s pH. Substantially the same thing happens with lye soap and sodium hydroxide, the main component of Drano. What was that about no harsh chemicals?

Consumers buy over $3 billion worth of laundry-detergent products per year. The Magnetic Laundry System has been on the market for eight years, and the manufacturer claims that it makes most of those billions of dollars worth of detergent obsolete. Nevertheless, its sales even today are miniscule. Is that plausible if it really works?
Hi Simone. The magnet ball would not work in the dryer, however our dryer balls would be perfect for that. You can find them here: http://suzanneholt.norwex.biz/en_US/customer/shop/product-detail/29608
Given that ground-level ozone is an irritant that can worsen asthma and compromise the body’s ability to fight respiratory infections, we checked the ambient air in our test lab while the devices were in use and measured ozone levels well below the maximum limit set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The pitch for these laundry balls gets more baroque over time, but basically the theory is that by using magnets, the balls rip apart clusters of water molecules that form naturally by magnetic attraction. When these clusters are ripped apart, creating “activated” or “structured” water, it makes it easier for individual water molecules to get at the junk you’re trying to remove from your dirties. All without expensive, damaging, and unhealthy chemical detergents.
Yes, that’s right. Magnetic Laundry System has passed numerous tests and is proven to be the most affordable and safest detergent to use. It consists of an independent lab testing report from one of the largest companies in the world, i.e, Shuster Laboratories, which has now changed its name to UL Consumer Products. The result states that Magnetic Laundry System undoubtedly cleans the clothes without damaging the colours, elasticity or the tensile strength of the clothes.
This was expressed to him in private, and now again publicly on his blog. Our money back guarantee is exactly that. A Guarantee that our customers can try the product in their own home and evaluate it for themselves to form their OWN opinion. If their opinion is that the product does not work as advertised, they will get their money back. This product is NOT, in any way shape or form, a “scam”. It is a product that was awarded two patents from the U.S. Patent Office that truly works and provides many benefits to the end user. We all have been using it for many years and have experienced outstanding results, as have thousands of others.
Dishwasher Balls (alas, their site is down), are certainly well-described: “Composed of high molecular active substance, it does not consist of any harmful chemical elements. The H2O molecule is an electrical dipole, not a magnetic one; it is not a magnet, and is not attracted by a magnet. Equating the S and N poles of a magnet with the [electrical] “potential” is pure fantasy.
The “invention” they sell is two magnets encased in rubbery plastic, which you’re supposed to put into your washing machine instead of detergent.  The Web site claims, “Research by Physicist Dr. Hendrick Lorentz shows that the right magnetic fields, water molecules (H2O) [sic] are made to have similar effects that detergent chemicals do… in other words, they stick to other tiny particles like dirt, and carry them off!”
In fact, the massive rocks encircling Stonehenge are not “paramagnetic”.  Those who composed this bumpf are probably referring to the [fictional] ley lines (another bit of pseudoscience) that are alleged to pass through this ancient site.
[T]he department of Justice obtained the various products and had them tested by a qualified, independent laboratory. Results of the tests indicated that the water in the spheres had no special characteristics. The “globe products” essentially contain nothing more than water, blue dye and a foaming additive contained within an impermeable plastic shell.
In a several very detailed case histories, Mr. Keister concludes that in every instance, the observed reduction in scaling could be attributed to changes in operating procedures or to other aspects of water chemistry, particularly the presence of phosphates.
I just read your site and feel equally duped…I ordered the magnets but have not received anything yet, nor have I been able to find any response from the company for about 10 days. This failure to respond got me concerned and I began to look into the company. I only found your site so far. Wow, fooled again hoping to reach beyond the norm.
One other thing that is great is, you don’t even have to do a rinse cycle anymore unless you just feel an item needs more agitation or something. There is NO detergent (unless you add some, but I don’t know why you would do that as it defeats the whole purpose of the product) to rinse off. With not having to do a rinse cycle, that will save even MORE $$$. Less water, less electricity, and less time! Wash loads will get done in half the time now. I’m just so stoked over this product, I am actually excited about it!
Herbert, I don’t think that there is one product that will work on everything. I’m not a chef, just a klutzy mom with two messy girls. Even with my suggestions below, a second, or even third washing may be required for particularly stubborn or set in (from previous washing and drying) stains. Check to see if the stain is out before drying. Putting stained items in the dryer can set the stain, making it harder to get out. If it needs rewashed to get a stain out, do not let it dry before washing again.

Finally, even “verified purchaser” reviews on Amazon can be faked. It’s harder, but not impossible. There’s no reason why the people peddling these products can’t “buy” them themselves and then post verified purchaser reviews, or pay someone else to do so.
The manufacturers of these types of laundry balls claim that detergent companies around the world are in cahoots, conspiring to increase profits by stating you need to use much more detergent than you actually need, so you’ll have to buy more. These balls release just a very small amount of detergent with each cycle, said to be the real amount you need.

The actual “clinical trial” study results posted by Water Liberty / Adya Clarity are a joke. I’ve placed the PDF on Natural News servers in the public interest, knowing they might remove or alter this document on their own servers, so you can view it here (PDF).
I was just wondering last night if there is something that can be used instead of laundry detergent – even though I already use a good natural detergent. I have a question about the enzymes, though. How often do you have to buy more?
Washing your clothes without the use of harsh detergents is amazing technology! Patent protection has been applied for, though we are not the first to understand the value of a magnetic field to change the molecular structure of water. The process of using magnets to reduce the surface tension of water is not new dating back many centuries, but we believe we are the first to do it this way. Instead of selling you vast quantities of harmful chemicals in an ongoing manner, we offer our magnetic hydro-nomic system that lasts forever!
LASTS FOR YEARS. COMES WITH A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY AND AN UNCONDITIONAL 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE… One package of two Laundry System units can be used over and over again for many years. No need to keep buying expensive $20 bottles of detergent every few weeks. Great for saving money and in drought areas because you can bypass the rinse cycle since there are no chemicals, saving 20-40 gallons of water per wash and the energy to run it!
Have you know about that magnetic force? Here is the product that harnessing which incredible force and also focusing it in your home washing machine to affect the whole water. At an atomic level, all the thing is affected by magnetic. You will don’t have to buy any another set of the Laundry System units because it operates from the renewable and permanent magnetic source. It is the laundry detergents will work to clean all of your clothes, but are really non-renewable petrochemicals and create you the good health and eliminate the environmental risks and potentially avoids the poisonous chemical by-products.
According to the WaterLiberty.com website, in 1968, Dr. Asao Shimanishi found that biotite, also known as black mica, can help water naturally cleanse itself of contaminants, due to its high concentrations of sulfate materials and natural magnetic properties. However, like many other nutritional supplements we’ve reviewed here at HighYa, WaterLiberty.com claims that this information hasn’t been made available to the public because of “corporate greed, and because of the ignorance of the leaders of industries, and political resistance.”
In the 1950’s, It was found that chemicals could change the molecular structure of water with the world’s first laundry detergent. It was understood that you needed to reduce the surface tension of the water to help it to clean better. The concept behind this Laundry System is that you can achieve similar results with our unique magnetic technology using no chemicals whatsoever. On an atomic level, everything is affected by magnetics. The Magnetic Laundry System cleans garments by utilizing these principles rather than harsh and expensive laundry detergent chemicals.

The usual schtick is that the molecules of gasoline and similar fuels are “clustered” together, and a magnet inserted in the fuel line will break up these aggregates, thereby allowing more even and efficient combustion. This is not only supposed to save fuel, but it also reduces the buildup of carbon in the cylinders and reduces pollution. Other hucksters offer devices that purport to use “far infrared technology” to achieve the same purposes. A 1998 review found virtually no convincing evidence for the efficacy of magnetic fuel treatment.
The cavalier dismissal without exploring the science or actually testing the reality of this technology is cowardly and serves no one. The reality of magnetic influence on water to reduce its surface tension is indisputable and has long been known by science. The reality is that magnets may be effective this way if they are properly constructed to produce fields that span the water.
The “invention” they sell is two magnets encased in rubbery plastic, which you’re supposed to put into your washing machine instead of detergent.  The Web site claims, “Research by Physicist Dr. Hendrick Lorentz shows that with the right magnetic fields, water molecules (H2O) [sic] are made to have similar effects that detergent chemicals do… in other words, they stick to other tiny particles like dirt, and carry them off!”
Except for the LSBU source described immediatly below, most of these publications should be generally understandable by non-specialists. For more references that pertain to experiments on model systems which have appeared in the scientific literature, please see my water science page.
I use eco balls have a look at link above, in the wash. These are expensive and friends and family use dog balls instead and have the same great results. So buy three rubber dog balls about the size of an apple. Or the ones with the holes in like in the picture above. Alongside this I put in about 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of salt in the wash drawer and 1/2 of vinegar in the conditioner drawer.
It’s understandable that there’s a demand for laundry cleaner that doesn’t use as many harsh chemicals as detergent. However, each of those chemicals serves a specific purpose in removing stains—especially when it comes to stains like sweat. And although Crystal Wash has none of the chemicals of regular detergent, it none of the efficacy either. There were high hopes for Crystal Wash as it raised over $250,000 on its Kickstarter, so it’s a bit of a bummer that it fails at one of the basic tasks of doing laundry.
With this product, you can finally get rid of those chemical detergents and seemingly “all-natural” formulas that are still laden with carcinogens. The Water Liberty Magnetic Laundry System is also meant to last – you won’t need to waste more money in purchasing more magnets because your original product is mean to last for 50 years.

Normal tap water has a pH level of about 7, whereas magnetized water can reach 7.8 pH after exposure to a 7000 gauss strength magnet for a long period of time. Cancer cells do not survive well in an alkaline environment.
It’s a must have item for every home, but especially those with chemical sensitivities. So glad I finally had enough saved in my Amazon account to purchase it, and try it out. 🙂 I can’t recommend it highly enough, truly.
There are going to be some substances that may not be removed by such water as those substances requires specific solvents or enzyme actions to break them down or dislodge them. This is hardly proof that these do not work. Those who use fabric softeners will certainly have inferior results because those products by nature bond to and affect the behavoir of the fibers of the clothing. Those people will also have those chemicals in their brains and the brains of their children and ought to reconsider using them.
Does it occur to you to wonder why there is no research supporting the claim that these magnets do anything to clean clothing? Do you wonder why the manufacturer of the magnets asked an independent laboratory to compare washing clothes with the magnets with washing clothes in plain water, and then didn’t publish the results of the latter half of the experiment?

¿Sabes contestar a:

“Purchase Magnetic Laundry System Coupon Colorado laundry magnets how they work”

“When we magnetize the water, all the electrons take on the same charge. Because like charges or poles repel each other, the molecules are pushed away from each other breaking up the associations into singular stasis known as molecularly mono-atomic.”
There are many things that you can do to make your home a healthier and safer place. But, one thing that you certainly may not have considered is your detergent – not just changing it, but getting rid of it altogether. Recently, a new brand developed a safer, chemical-free, and just as effective alternative to detergent solutions.
The only thing missing is the one thing which Life Miracle could publish only if the product actually works: the results of rigorous laboratory tests showing that clothes washed with the magnets end up cleaner than clothes washed in nothing but water.
A more recent product is the Bev Wizard Wine Enhancer whose promoters claim (with no supporting evidence) that the magnetic field causes negatively-charged tannins to coagulate. See this Decanter article on this dubious device.
I have just used two magnets that I found lying around my house.one large, messaures 2 1/2 inches, just over 6 cos and weighs 340 grams ,then two smaller ones  to try and match the bigger one in strength. The washing appears clean and fresh.however the large magnet fell off the side wall of the machine,I stopped my machine and put it into a buttoned up pocket of a shirt. This had a bad effect as it has pitted the pocket.  I also had to separate the magnets at some stage as one of the smaller magnets had stuck to the big one, before I put it into the pocket! Does that happen with the commercial magnets you buy and is it OK to leave them stuck together? I did try to buy the magnets on line, but like so many things ,products, no one ships to Namibia!!
After reading your article especially the above paragraph I am now even happier to use the laundry magnets. I have been using them for over a month and before that was using the pellet balls, I am saying this to inform you that I was not using any chemicals prior to using magnetic balls and they still did a good job and I am satisfied with them especially after reading that even plain water cleans thus you don’t really need any harmful chemicals to wash your clothes !! especially if they leave a chemical residue on the clothes even after the rinse cycle. Who wants nasty chemicals on their skin ?? I have a 4 year old boy and comes home with a very dirty uniform, magnets (or maybe just the water) do a very good job in cleaning it. I wash with cold water and don’t use any softner and clothes come out soft too. You might consider them as a scam but I am happy with the result. My mum has been using them too for over a month and she is pleased with the results. For any stubborn stains I use a pre treatment just like I did long ago when I washed with good quality detergents. Maybe you should investigate the harm the “common detergets” are doing to people and the environment and evaluate the pros and cons. Clothes are eventually discarded or grown out of in case of kids but not in the case of our health and the environment.
and have offered him a full and complete refund (including shipping costs) from us if he does not receive satisfaction from the reseller. We will do this even though we did not it to him or collect the money for this order. According to his written account, Jonathan deserves, and will receive, a full refund. Though it represents a total loss to us, we believe it is absolutely the right thing to do, and the right thing for Jonathan.
For those of us who live in apartment buildings with community laundry or who trek to the laundromat each week, this process has very few perks. The one thing I count on is being able to do all the loads of laundry I need at one time. Because I only purchased one set of magnets, I was glad I still had regular detergent on hand for the two other loads of laundry I started at the same time. It would get very pricey to purchase multiple sets!

Dear Gloria, I’ve been trying to learn about using vinegar & 2 tsp of salt as a laundry detergent replacement, and haven’t found any studies. Your comment gives me hope – do you have any references, or information/websites I can show my family? Thanks heaps!

The “risk free trial” offered by the site promises that “You’ll have 21 days from today to use the Magnetic Laundry System and experience the results for yourself.”  The company charged my credit card $5.95 for shipping and handling on December 1; they shipped the product to me on December 23; it arrived on December 26; and the company charged my credit card $49.95 on December 27.  Yes, that’s right, my “21 day free trial” involved having the product in my possession for less than one day.
The smaller cluster size gives the water excellent cleaning properties, high solubility and good permeability. In other words, water clusters in smaller groups lead to a better absorption of water through the tiny open spaces or “pores” of the fabrics. This technology essentially enables and strengthens the water’s ability to ‘physically’ clean and rinse dirt off fabrics without the use of chemicals. Learn more.
Another red flag that we encountered during our research is that WaterLiberty appears to have been marketed under numerous brand names over the past couple years alone, including Adya Clarity, black mica extract, and mica water (among others), including different methods of using the product, as well as a variety of claimed benefits.
I ordered the Nanotowels and couldn’t be more impressed. With just water, they clean everything, greasy pans, stove tops etc. No toxic chemicals, just water. They are amazing. We also bought their …water filter for the office and the water now tastes great and we aren’t using as many plastic bottles. No chlorine taste at all. I haven’t had any trouble with the company and love their products that I’ve tried. See More
In a several very detailed case histories, Mr. Keister concludes that in every instance, the observed reduction in scaling could be attributed to changes in operating procedures or to other aspects of water chemistry, particularly the presence of phosphates.
Anyways… People will agree and disagree. Some will believe things that are not true, and some will never believe something that is true. Some will try to prove things just like you are doing. However, actually having a controlled test is very meaningful and I applaud your efforts.
We’ve discovered that you can achieve the same results with magnetic technology using no chemicals whatsoever! The Magnetic Laundry System changes the molecular structure of water by breaking the surface tension without the use of harsh chemicals. The magnets make the “water wetter” and then the water absorbs the dirt and soil from your clothes keeping it suspended until removed.
Magnetic forces never have direct contact with electronic devices and this magnetic cleaning system should be used on water drums to have the effect on cleaning clothes as well as keep the quality of the cloth at all the time.
WaterLiberty is a black mica extract that is claimed to remove heavy metals, fluoride, aluminum, and other deadly toxins from your tap water. In addition to neutralizing these contaminants, WaterLiberty is also claimed to help your body’s aches and pains disappear, while removing carbon waste.
“By ‘magnetizing’ or polarizing drinking water, those noxious ‘lumps’ will not build up,  and instead we see amorphous structures which are easily assimilated or discardable.  In addition to getting softer water, the water temporarily acquires new dissolving, anti-calcareous, relaxing and invigorating properties.
Water can be “magnetized” In order to become “magnetized”, a molecule must not only be paramagnetic (contain an unpaired electron), but groups of molecules must be able to align themselves into local regions (“domains”) that amplify the effect and retain their orientation for a long time. The effect is known as “ferromagnetism” and as far as I know has only been observed in solids, the most well known, of course, being metallic iron.
Interestingly, an article describing a 2004 stock promotion claims that a 2003 report from the Rand Corporation concluded that that “a sufficient theoretical basis [for magnetic fuel treatment] exists to warrant entry into a comprehensive product testing program.” It would be most interesting to see this report which is at odds with all known science.
All you have to do it try is for yourself and also see the results with your own eyes. Magnetic Laundry System is the perfect double patented technology that make you to wash every clothes with no need of any toxic chemical detergent. You can achieve similar results using a chemical-free, completely renewable magnetic basis, without using non-renewable petrochemicals
Here’s the fascinating thing: Life Miracle had an outside laboratory do such tests over ten years ago. The laboratory washed identically stained clothes without detergent, both with and without the Magnetic Laundry System, and then measured how much cleaner they were. On Life Miracle’s Web site, it has published the results of the laundry run with the magnets, but the results of the laundry run in which only water was used are omitted. The only conceivable explanation for why Life Miracle would fail to publish these results is because they show that water alone gets clothes just as clean as water plus magnets.
Except for the LSBU source described immediatly below, most of these publications should be generally understandable by non-specialists. For more references that pertain to experiments on model systems which have appeared in the scientific literature, please see my water science page.
In any case, I typically do 6-8 loads of “people” laundry per week, and double that, sometimes triple, of cat laundry. And it can be NASTY. In some rare cases, I toss out the item (towel, blanket, pillow, etc) because it is just too far gone to even think about putting in the washer.

But the magnets stay “stuck” (magnetized) to the walls, which are metal, so there’s no friction. And they don’t change the molecular structure of water (which would be scary), but the charge. I’m no expert, that’s why I had my sister and her family try it out! And with excellent results! Placebo effect? Could be, but she has a little boy who sure dirties things. Maybe I’ll have her try doing a load minus the magnets to see her thoughts. I’ll post back my her reaction to this experiment if she goes along with it.

“Best Commentaries Water Liberty Laundry Magnets Colorado laundry magnets”

Several manufacturers offer juice-producing machines that incorporate magnets, which they variously claim, without any supporting evidence, to mellow the taste [link], to enhance the stability of the juice [link], or generally to maintain the freshness of fruit and vega table juices. A typical false claim is that the magnets
When gasoline remains in your tank for a while, the fuel molecules start to cluster. The molecules on the inside of these clusters can’t be exposed to the oxygen necessary for combustion. The result: Incomplete fuel burn with the unburned molecules emitted as pollution or remaining inside your engine as damaging carbon/varnish deposits.

[It] features magnetic technology that was inspired by rainstorms … Pure rainwater falls from clouds that contain a strong electromagnetic field – the source of lightning. Rain passes through this highly charged field of energy.
At an atomic level, everything is affected by magnetics. All you need to do it try is for yourself and see the results with your own eyes. The Life Miracle ® Laundry System is patented and made with the highest quality materials. the system is engineered and built to give you many decades of effective service.
I was dubious, as you probably are as well.  But Care2 is a pretty reputable site, and the upside of never needing to pay for or use laundry detergent again is pretty high.  Furthermore, I figured that if it was a scam, then I’d have fun performing an experiment to prove it.  So I went ahead and ordered a set of the magnets.
Stain removal depends on three things: Agitation, water, and chemistry. Anyone whose ever blotted out a food stain from a shirt in a restaurant bathroom knows that different stains require different methods of removal. That’s why we used stain strips to quantify how each cleaning agent performed.
A little digging on the Web reveals that the company which manufactures this product did publish an “independent lab test result,” which you can view here.  You can also view an “As Seen On TV” video evaluation of the product here.  [UPDATE 2010-06-22: The “As Seen on TV” video is no longer available. Perhaps Life Miracle stopped paying the advertising fee for it so they took it off the site?] Here are some problems I found with these:
Well, there certainly are negative comments, but it must have something to do with their shipping department or something, because I received the magnets with a short wait, and they work wonderfully. …Havent tried the nano towels yet, but the magnets do work, and if you had a bit of chemistry/physics in school, you might understand why it works. Either way, I am very happy with the results. See More
I know you’re supposed to use cold water for colors that might bleed.  And you can still do that.  But for heavily soiled clothes you’re going to want to use hot water.  This isn’t necessarily a limitation of the magnet system, it’s just that oil, dirt, grime, and grease come out better with hot water.
I’ll go look for the link again. In theory, they’re specially calibrated to enhance water’s ability to disolve the dirt. Just taking what you just said about plain water-washing and giving it a little oomph. My one concern was that the reviews all said how soft the clothes came out and I’m wondering if the magnets are breaking down the fabric more quickly? Not that it REALLY matters—I don’t exactly have heirloom clothes or anything! But if we could use the magnets in the washer and just throw in a couple felt balls into the dryer, that would at least make one part of our housekeeping green! (I can’t line-dry—not an option according to our association even if there were room on the tiny deck.)
I bought these magnets 2 years ago, along with wool balls for the dryer. I was so excited and eager for great results. The first 2 months were great! My sheets felt so clean and smelled wonderful from the essential oils I used on the wool balls. My clothes felt so clean! But in the 4th month, I would enter my home and smell a “dirty” smell, which is unusual because I am a clean freak! Little by little, my son’s athletic clothes especially, were not coming out clean, but seemed to have a build up of dirt that wasn’t being removed from the washing. Now, I was looking into odor control products, then stain removing products, etc. I felt like I was reinventing the wheel. Then a friend of mine, very into natural products, sent me an article on how detergents are crucial for clean laundry, and the article explained the chemistry behind it. Not to say you can’t us a natural detergent, but all in all, I stopped using the magnets. Then, if you think about it, how do the clothes truly get rinsed clean if the magnets are still in the water during the rinse cycle?
Water is diamagnetic, and magnets have no effect on water. However the thermal motion of partially charged atoms gives rise to a Lorentz field thus making the hydrogen bonds stronger when a significant magnetic field is applied.
I have a Meile washer and Dryer front loads and can only use Purcell boxed soap and have no problems coming clean and always wash with cold water, never hot and they come out clean!!So Iwill stick with my Purcell soap and only need a 1/2 oz of soap!!no magnets for me!!I do like the nana towels to clean glass computer and I pad screens and windows, fire place glass ,microwave glass door and my glasses I wear love those towels!!
These are a rather new device for washers, cost about $300, and hook up to the cold water line that goes to the washer. Groups like Consumer Reports have concluded they are no more effective than just washing without detergent and when used with detergent there was no difference.[10][11]
Does it occur to you to wonder why, if the fact that magnets can clean clothes has been known for years, there isn’t a single washing machine manufacturer anywhere in the world selling a unit which built-in magnets to get the clothes clean? Do you think there is a vast global conspiracy funded by the laundry detergent manufacturers?
Can you use the magnet ball in the dryer to dry clothes etc quicker/more effectively as many times larger items such as linen can turn into a ‘ball’ and not dry as effectively. Can it assist? Is it safe?
Very analytical mind… without reading your results it was almost concluded it is a scam. Thanks for spending time on it. I use vinegar to wash my clothes, by the way. Ecologic, hypoallergenic and cleans very well.

Magnetic Laundry System is the perfect laundry detergent alternative that washes away the bacterias completely. This product is proven to eliminate 99% of bacteria, 80% of germs, and 82% of mould. Here, you can place the units in the pockets of pairs of pants or a single pair of thick socks before running the cycle.
Water is indeed polar but this has nothing at all to do with magnetism. The polarity is due to the higher nuclear charge of oxygen, which displaces the shared bonding electrons towards the oxygen. This leaves the oxygen with a partial negative charge and the hydrogen with a partial positive charge. Water has no paramagnetic properties.
