“Best Laundry Magnets United Kingdom Reviews laundry magnets”

What’s even worse, we are willingly to pay a small fortune to chemical companies who exposes us to these toxins. Let Laundry Magnets Reviews site introduce you to a revolutionary way to do laundry that allows you to completely eliminate your need for laundry detergent ever again.
I have been reading about this for a while this morning because this was interesting to me.  I started off with the site you mentioned.  It sounded good.  Then I typed in magnetic laundry con into my search engine.  To make a long story short, my findings are that it seems that these magnets do not do anything more than cleaning with plain water would have done.  Here is a quote from this site http://www.consumersearch.com/laundry-detergent/review
A.  You don’t need to order more than one kit. One kit is perfectly sufficient for a home washing machine. The Laundry System double pack (2 kits) is available simply if you want one for home and one for travel, or you want to give one as a gift, if you and a friend want to order together, etc. There is a special 10% discount. Once people use this product, many people become evangelists telling others about it. But you only need one kit for yourself.

I read in several places that customers had problems with returning the product, but that seems to vary according to the affiliate from whom the purchase was made. i had responded to an ad by a man named Kacper of Kacper Postawski Companies. When I submitted a request to return the product I received an e-mail response two or three hours later from ‘Water Liberty’ with instructions on how to return it. When I didn’t mail it for a few days, a company representative phoned me from British Columbia to check on the situation. I thought it only fair to let people know this.
However, when we delve into the individual stains themselves, the story gets a bit more interesting. Crystal Wash, water, and detergent all about the same when it came to removing carbon, blood, and cocoa—meaning that hot water and agitation did most of the heavy lifting.
I wonder if you could add iron filing to the water heat it enough for the calcium to build up on the iron filings and then use a magnet to pull them out of the stream. Although you would then be dragging bags of iron filing around instead of bags of salt, have greaters costs as you heated the water and have to folter the water to make sure no iron filings got through to the tap… – Ardesco Jun 6 ’11 at 10:23

and have offered him a full and complete refund (including shipping costs) from us if he does not receive satisfaction from the reseller. We will do this even though we did not sell it to him or collect the money for this order. According to his written account, Jonathan deserves, and will receive, a full refund. Though it represents a total loss to us, we believe it is absolutely the right thing to do, and the right thing for Jonathan.
Rest assured, the packaging that comes with The Laundry Solution (U.S. $85) is made of recyclable plastic. “The product works by properties of physics. Hence there are no residues left on your clothing.”
If you are interested in purchasing this product from Water Liberty, then you can do so through the brand’s website. The prices range from $69.99 to $154.95. The various product options are on the site and you can opt for the one that works best for you and your laundry needs. Keep in mind that the pricing is currently at a discounted rate and there is no indication for how long the deal will last. Check out their other product called Nanotowels.
A good example is the very well-written but scientifically dubious 1997 article Quinn C. J., Sanderson C. W, Molden, T.C, “Magnetic treatment of water prevents mineral build-up”, published in 8/97 Iron and Steel Engineer

“Purchase Magnets For Laundry Reviews laundry magnets scam”

I’m a big fan of essential oils.  I’ve found that by adding a drop or so into the wash with our clothes I can still get the great smell without all the harsh chemicals.  If I’m just washing my clothes or sheets a little bit of lavender is LOVELY.

Over eleven years after the first patent behind this product was filed, there isn’t a single washing-machine manufacturer in the entire world selling a machine which uses this technology to clean clothes. Is that plausible if it really works?

Now to me this seems like a delightful way to keep overconsumptive Americans from polluting the water supply while at the same time helping to ease the burden that excess cash has on the overly gullible.

Most scientists who have looked into MWT remain very skeptical, as they tend of be of any field for which there is no obvious theoretical model and in which quantitative and reproducible results are hard to come by. (A very similar situation arises in studies of whether power transmission lines contribute to leukemia.) Scientists who might otherwise be qualified to investigate MWT also to be put off by the stigma the field has acquired due to the exaggerated claims made by some of its adherents and the widespread promotion of various worthless applications involving magnets.

I can get it in wisconsin at my grocery and dollar stores I use Dr Bronners castile cleanser and aloe vera gel with baking soda and washing soda. Two drops lemon essential oil. Apple cider vineger at rinse time. My clothes are brighter, Never dingy or stinky.

Perhaps you missed the part where many highly educated, knowledgeable scientists with training in this area — you know, instead of crackpot herbalists like you — have debunked the idea that throwing a couple of magnets into a washing machine will get the clothes cleaner.

How does it work? “Makers of the Eurowash Laundry Ball mount 4 powerful, permanent magnets in a durable plastic bracket which is then covered with a tough, vulcanized blue rubber. Two tunnels through the middle of the ball allow water to flow directly through the focused magnetic fields. The result is a virtually indestructable water restructuring device.”

Some magnetic products claim that they “change the molecular structure of water”,[13] a pseudoscientific claim with no real scientific basis.[2] There is no such thing as “magnetized water”.[11] Water is not paramagnetic, which means that water molecules don’t align in the presence of a magnetic field.[11] Water is repelled by magnets because it’s diamagnetic, but to such a small degree that most instruments can’t detect it.[14]

Bottom line: We’re all for the idea of a detergent-less laundry system, which would save money and time for consumers and have less impact on the environment. Unfortunately, neither of these systems lives up to the potential.

Wash each undershirt in a separate load, in hot water, with no extra rinse, in a front-loading washing machine, with four clean towels (to balance the machine and simulate a full load of laundry) of similar size and thickness:

OK I want to be candid here. I went into this purchase a complete skeptic. No one I know has purchased these and vouched for them. Reviews on Amazon were good, the only ones that had anything bad to say was the magnets slip around during the cycle. I didn’t consider that a big deal when I look at the bigger picture of saving pretty much $10 a week on detergent for life….that’s $520 a year….

She will then proceed to pee on his laptop bag.  She’s done this several times and it has officially become known as “Cat Pee Backpack”.  I’ve tried all sorts of detergents but NOTHING completely gets rid of the smell.

I do not know Jonathan’s motivation to spend such an enormous amount of effort and time to attack a product and a company that is doing our very best to do a little good in the world, but all we can do is move on from here.

I can’t thank you enough for taking care of this business… I was suspicious of this product and wanted to research it. I found this site and told my husband to read along with me….Racked my brain how such nonsense was allowed on a public site…For most of us, to see that saving is possible we tend to lean to get a product that will allow this saving or any method…Trickery at it’s worst…

There is no independent scientific research on the Web site pertaining to the efficacy of the product.  Under the heading “Clinical Research” on the Web page is not proof that the magnets work, but rather quotes from a 2005 Sierra Club press release about supposedly dangerous chemicals in laundry detergents.  The pamphlet that comes with the product says that it has been “independently proven,” but there is no evidence of this.

Water Structure and Science is probably the most comprehensive and best-organized Web site devoted to water. It is maintained by Prof. Martin Chaplin of London South Bank University. On his page Descaling of Water he summarizes the present literature of MWT and provides the actual references for those who wish to persue them. See also his Magnetic and electric effects on water page.

Here’s the fascinating thing: Life Miracle had an outside laboratory do such tests over ten years ago. The laboratory washed identically stained clothes without detergent, both with and without the Magnetic Laundry System, and then measured how much cleaner they were. On Life Miracle’s Web site, it has published the results of the laundry run with the magnets, but the results of the laundry run in which only water was used are omitted. The only conceivable explanation for why Life Miracle would fail to publish these results is because they show that water alone gets clothes just as clean as water plus magnets.

As is the case with so much quackery, much of the actual selling of these worthless products is done by thousands of independent dealers recruited by typically not-very-educated individuals who are as credulous as their customers. The more ambitious but unlettered can even purchase mail-order “Registered Magnetic Therapist” and similar degrees. But in recent years, this quackery has moved into the mainstream as Amway and the Canadian Shopper’s Drug Mart chain have begun peddling this snake oil.

[T]he department of Justice obtained the various products and had them tested by a qualified, independent laboratory. Results of the tests indicated that the water in the spheres had no special characteristics. The “globe products” essentially contain nothing more than water, blue dye and a foaming additive contained within an impermeable plastic shell.

In fact, the massive rocks encircling Stonehenge are not “paramagnetic”.  Those who composed this bumpf are probably referring to the [fictional] ley lines (another bit of pseudoscience) that are alleged to pass through this ancient site.

Others have mentioned that these magnets do nothing to neutralize bacteria or germs.  Again, this is not something that detergents do either.  Hot water, or bleach when necessary will take care of most of the germs.  You can also use a more natural solution that I cover below in the FAQ.

The results of the work offer no doubts: the laundry balls do clean, yes, but the same or even less than water.”

Water is diamagnetic, and magnets have no effect on water. However the thermal motion of partially charged atoms gives rise to a Lorentz field thus making the hydrogen bonds stronger when a significant magnetic field is applied.

You basically place the two magnets on the side walls of your washing machine.  They’ll hold themselves in place all while doing what they’re supposed to do.  If you’re machine has a plastic tub you can place them either into the pockets of some pants, or in a couple socks (one magnet per pocket or sock please).

A seller of various commercial items was touting the magnetic balls for washing clothes. Being skeptical I proceeded to research the internet for serious criticism and found your excellent article that dispelled the hype and left me grateful to you.

The truth is that you can leave out the detergent many times when washing clothes and still have them come out clean. There’s always some detergent left over in the machine, and it really doesn’t take much for clothes worn and washed as most people do – wear it today in the office, chuck it in the wash. If you’ve got truly dirty clothes (the pants you wore while mucking out a cow barn, for example) then you will need detergent, and the magnets won’t help at all. Not that the magnets help anyway, its just the left over detergent and the clothes not really needing much washing. – JRE Apr 15 ’16 at 14:36

We often keep experimenting in our lives. From cuisines to brands, we keep trying new things. But there is something with the detergents. No matter how many we try, we never seem to have the best results to be satisfied enough. And, we are so busy in our monotonous lives, that we forget about the chemicals that lurk on our clothes and are inhales by us. Now you may say that chemicals have become an inevitable part of our lives, but wait, let me tell you that Magnetic Laundry System is chemical free.

In contrast to the testimonials common to NCD [non-chemical devices] marketing literature, the many controlled studies undertaken by various government and industrial organizations have resulted in a consensus opinion that NCD are not capable of producing the effects claimed in the literature. In general, the theories advanced by the NCD suppliers to explain operation of their devices show a lack of agreement with accepted scientific principles. In spite of an extensive history of installation failures, findings of no effect in controlled studies, and no acceptable theory of operation; new NCD are accepted in the market on a routine basis, often obtaining significant sales before the inevitable disasters result in that particular device being discredited.

Laundry balls/disks allegedly eliminate or greatly reduce the need for conventional laundry detergents. You get different stories on how they’re supposed to work, including a lot of hokum about “structured water” and “nanotricity” and whatnot, none of which makes much sense. The most coherent account comes from a catalog firm called Real Goods:

“Buy The Patented Magnetic Washing System Arizona laundry magnets how they work”

One of the best things about the Water Liberty’s Magnetic Laundry System is that it can work with just about any washing machine; whether you have your own or you use a laundromat. It works perfectly with top loading and front loading washing machines, washing machines made inside or outside of the USA, and no matter what drum the machine uses. Just follow the instructions carefully and see the results for yourself.
EASY TO USE. Works in any kind of washing machine! Simply place the MLS units and your clothes in your washing machine and turn it on. For front loaders, put the MLS units in pants pockets. Though they are magnetic, they do not have to stick to the drum to work, and will work in front and top loading machines. Remember, the MLS replaces laundry detergent only. The use of pre wash spot-remover sprays, bleaches or additives such as fabric softeners can be used with the MLS.

I don’t know why I’m taking the time to respond, but have you actually read my blog postings? I ask this, because if you had you would have seen that I did, in fact, “use the magnets,” and I did, in fact, prove through my experiments that clothes washed with the magnets come out no cleaner than clothes washed in plain water.
It is also worth noting that what you wrote above is different than what you told me in private email about how you are handling this issue. When you tell two different stories about how you’re handling the same problem, it is difficult to believe that either is true.
The company recommends a procedure to clean out the washer before the first use of their product. The procedure will remove soap scum and buildup… This could account for any repeatable observations of “brightness” the first time the product is used.
Magnetic force is one of the most powerful forces on earth. In fact, the earth itself is like a giant magnet with a north and south pole. It is an amazing source of natural energy. Even the weak magne…
The negative field of a magnet is used most often to correctly stimulate (potentiate) and reorganize the electron (spin) charge which results in creating the healthy cellular charge state of a strong-negative potential.
Its not that everything you promote has issues, But the magnetic wash idea has been around for years and never stuck, except on the few that are led astray. There is a possibility I am wrong, in which case we won’t need shampoo, hand soap, toilet cleaners or washing machines, just a tub of water and magnets.
Smart Laundry’s product (U.S. $50) “works on principle of Magnetichydrodynamics and No Allergic for human skin during washes (even by hands of fine washables in the sink without soap suds) or sleeping on the bed linens.” Note that “for our live drinking water, we MUST USE — even by law — Euro-Wash Laundry Balls instead harmfull any detergents.”
The bait-and-switch with the nonexistent “21 day risk free trial” is a conscious, intentional effort by the company selling these magnets to capitalize on the fact that most people are too lazy to complain and and get their money back.
A: Absolutely. We just recommend that if you have a front loader, you place the Magnetic Laundry System units in the pockets of a pair of pants or in a pair of thick socks before running the cycle (preferably pants pockets). This eliminates any noise the force of the horizontal axis may create. Although magnetic force should not be in direct contact with electronics, the Magnetic Laundry System is used in the water drum and is far enough away to have zero impact on the electronic controls if used properly. Just do not rest them on the electronic control panel. Also, the two Magnetic Laundry System units combined weigh just a fraction of one pair of wet jeans (12 ounces compared to 80 ounces respectively). So you don’t need to be concerned with any significant added weight.
“As a practicing Naturopathic Physician and as president of the Curing Old Age Disease Society (COADS), I see patients in all states of degenerative disease. The Vitalizer Plus represents a near miracle when it comes to supporting the natural detoxification processes of the body. In my experience, the unique structured water produced by this machine provides superior hydration and an enhanced ability to remove metabolic wastes from the cellular components of the body. Both of these factors are critical for healing and for maintaining natural vitality. I highly recommend it as an addition to any health care program.“
The effect of the laundry balls may be explained by simple mechanical action and by the usage of hotter water. Some manufacturers claim that their products reduce energy consumption, but their pamphlets recommend using hot water.[4] Hot water will clean some types of spots better than cold water,[4][6] leading some people to conclude that the balls worked. The mechanical action of the laundry balls can help clean some types of spots,[4][6] but a golf ball will achieve the same effect for much less money.[2]
ABI, a Japanese outfit, offers a Cells Alive System (CAS) whose purpose is to improve the industrial-scale fast-freezing process by inhibiting the growth of ice crystals that tend to break down cell walls when foods are frozen. The idea is to employ a magnetic field to allow the food to be supercooled (that is, cooled below the freezing point without forming ice), and then turning off the field causing the ice to form so rapidly that only very small crystals are able to grow. A fine idea, except for the fact that I know of no evidence that a magnetic field is able to alter the freezing point of water. The CAS promotion claims that the magnetic field acts by aligning “the magnetic moment of the electrons” — which strikes me as scientific nonsense, given that all 10 electrons in H2O are paired so that the molecule has a zero magnetic moment. A 2006 article in a South African food processing magazine describes the process in more detail, but confuses the issue by invoking the use of an alternating electric field as well (which should have the same effect as a microwave oven) and making the unlikely claim that a glass of water frozen by this method will not break.
The smaller cluster size gives the water excellent cleaning properties, high solubility and good permeability. In other words, water clusters in smaller groups lead to a better absorption of water through the tiny open spaces or “pores” of the fabrics. This technology essentially enables and strengthens the water’s ability to ‘physically’ clean and rinse dirt off fabrics without the use of chemicals. Learn more.
One of the pluses of traditional detergent is it’s ability to help cover up less appealing odors, such as those that come from sweaty gym clothes.  For this I had the perfect test.  My husband has workout clothes that he’s been using for going on 10 years.
A: Yes. It works on front and top loading washers and it is completely safe in both. You can leave it there practically forever. We just recommend that if you have a front loader, you place the Magnetic Laundry System units in the pockets of a pair of pants or in a pair of thick socks before running the cycle (preferably pants pockets). This eliminates any noise the force of the horizontal axis may create.
Young I. Cho, a mechanical engineer at Drexel University, reported[⇒] a reduction in surface tension of up to 8% in hard water that had been treated by a 0.16 T permanent magnetic field; use of a 600-hz alternating field gave similar reductions. Unfortunately, this article does not provide enough information to assess the statistical validity of the results, which, it should be emphasized, do not apply to pure water. Also, this work depended on capillary rise observations, which although theoretically proportional to surface tension, do not actually measure it.
Admittedly, those are a lot of very big claims, which if true, could have a big impact not just in your life, but in the lives of millions around the world without access to clean drinking water. But is this really the case? In other words, can WaterLiberty really help purify drinking water, or is something else going on here?
Water does have a high surface tension, but this is not what causes water to “stick together”; both effects have their origin in the intermolecular hydrogen bonding (described above.) Surface tension is the work required to expand the area of the surface. The lower the surface tension, the more readily will a liquid penetrate narrow spaces as in a fabric.
I’ve tried them in both top and front load washers.  If you’re using a front load unit make sure to put them in some pants pockets or a pair of socks (one magnet in each).  This will keep you from going crazy when they bump against the door during the wash.
I am also environmentally “aware” and do my best to pick up trash, etc., whenever I can…and since I am in some wooded areas caring for feral cats, I end up with a pretty good haul of trash or recycling sometimes. So anything that can help us stop polluting the earth is an easy decision for me…especially when all you have to do is stick a couple of magnets in your washer….and no longer worry about what your detergent is doing to the drain field, or adding one more huge jug to the recycling bin every week.
Oh, and the magnets stayed right where I put them, even with the dog bed/pillow in the wash. I was sure they were going to be stuck together or on the bottom or something. We do have a very old machine……at least 20 years old. I know the newer models sometimes don’t have metal basins anymore. It’s not an issue if they do come off though, or you can put them inside a sock before the wash starts. It doesn’t matter if they stick together.
Magnetic Laundry System is a highly-recommended product that helps you clean efficiently. This product is incredibly healthy and provides environmental benefits of preventing the environment and clothes from the petrochemical detergents. It will help you keep the laundry room cleaner and safer. It fights against the bacterias. It allows to eliminate the use of toxic laundry detergent at your home and make this world an environmentally friendly place to live. This product comes with an amazing policy:
As water passes through the treatment chamber, it is subjected to a series of reversing-polarity, permanent magnetic fields, which interrupts the natural scale forming characteristics of CaCO3 and MgCO3 by temporarily altering their ionic charge identity. Instead of being attracted to one another, the molecules are caused to act like ions of similar charges and repel one another as they precipitate out of solution. [link]

Soaps and detergents operate in two ways, namely by reducing the surface tension but also by forming tiny globules around hydrophobic “dirt” particles and effectively rendering them soluble– a process known as emulsification. Soaps have been known since ancient times.
Contact whoever sold them to you and ask how to get a refund. Prepare to be stonewalled, but if you are persistent you will probably succeed. As a worst-case scenario you can dispute the credit-card charge.
The earth’s magnetic field naturally charges water in lakes, wells, and running streams. Water that passes through your city water treatment plant is transported through underground piping which causes the water to lose its magnetic energy; therefore treating water by passing it through a magnetic field will restore the natural energy and balance. It also rids the water of memory. There are systems available that magnetize the water as it comes into the faucet. These are known as point of use or point of discharge systems. … Magnetized water tastes sweeter and has more clarity; promotes a more alkaline pH in the body; is beneficial to wounds and burns; has a beneficial effect on digestive, nervous and urinary systems; revitalizes the body; provides positive effect on the nervous system; has been beneficial for kidney ailments, obesity and premature aging, and may help relieve discomfort. … Magnetic water controls scale buildup in pipes and plumbing. Magnetic water has a positive effect on plant growth. Magnetic water is more solvent and has a lower surface tension, so nutrients in the water are absorbed more readily. Use on agricultural crops results in improved quality of the plants with a reduction in the use of fertilizer.
That blog has exactly one article on it: a review of the Magnetic Laundry System. And it’s not actually a “review,” it’s actually a marketing piece trying to convince you to buy the Magnetic Laundry System.
So I am not one to brag about products… BUT I bought The Magnetic Laundry System thru Water Liberty. I decided to “test using one of our nastiest mop heads out of a manufacturing plant RR. I just want to comment here, as I represent the manufacturer of this product. I COMPLETELY disagree with Jonathan’s assessment of the product itself, and believe he has gone way overboard of his criticism of our product. I can’t spend hours on end debating point-by-point all he has posted, but I believe all of his critiques are without merit, and the vast majority of our customers would disagree with him as well. This is the first time in eight years a customer has so virulently attacked this amazing product.
No additional rinse cycle is needed, as there are no chemical substances to wash out. You may discover that you do not require softeners or static cling eliminators. This is definitely THE 21st century laundry detergent substitute. NO HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS INTRODUCED INTO THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT, OR ONTO YOUR GARMENTS TO INDUCE HEALTH ISSUES!
The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The Whois information for Laundry Magnets is public which is generally a good thing. This indicates the owner of this site has nothing to hide. And it helps consumers understand if the product is scam or legit.
Do not be misguided that the magnetic laundry system can remove all types of stains. For instance, stains that are permanent or are already set on garments prior to the use of the system are extremely difficult to get rid of.  The primary function of the laundry system is to remove normal dirt from fabrics and also the removal of residual detergents, chemical and soaps. It leaves fabrics softer, cleaner and less prone to static effect that are characteristic of conventional detergents and bleaches.
“It has been firmly established in the world scientific theatre that the Positive, expanding, field influence of the South Pole makes liquids more soluble (lowering surface tension); thereby hydrating, dissolving, and removing calcite and other mineral/various water by-product build-up in pipes and equipment. … Under the same magnetic molecular dynamics, the Positive Pole also de-clusters paraffin build-up in oil well or transmission lines.”

Rest assured, the packaging that comes with The Laundry Solution (U.S. $85) is made of recyclable plastic. “The product works by properties of physics. Hence there are no residues left on your clothing.”
NESI (Natural Environmental Solutions Inc. of Las Vegas, Nev, whose Web site, thankfully, recently disappeared) offered to “Magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy” — In addition to the usual water and fuel conditioners (including a magnetic showerhead that “Has Been Proven To Consistently Remove Over 90% Of Free Chlorine”, (starting every word with a capital letter presumably makes this more authoritative!) they offered a variety of Bio-Magnets that “magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy”, such as “Plaque fighting magnetic toothbrushes” (“Get teeth whiter and eliminate unslightly build up”), magnetic coffee cups, magnetic insoles (your choice of all-north or bipolar) and a Quartz Crystal Simulator (“High voltage stimulation ideal for on the spot use” ?!) .. or, for your dog, magnetic pet collars and a magnetic pet bed.
It is important to understand that the only requirement for obtaining a patent is novelty. In this case, since nobody before had the idea of putting magnets into a washing machine, the patent was not hard to get. When it comes to the patent, there is no need to show that the magnets actually do anything, just that their use in this context is novel. How about the study carried out by a testing lab that examined the cleaning efficacy? Technicians actually took bundles of clothes, washed them in a magnet equipped washing machine and demonstrated they came out cleaner than they went in. Surprise, surprise! Water is an excellent solvent and cleans remarkably well even without any detergent. The “study” had no control. That is, there was no comparison between laundering with just water and laundering with the magnetized water.
The physical process used to cause this change in crystalline structure is provided by the use of magnetic induction fields, which when exposed to moving water, interacts with the water’s electric dipole moment and applies a torque to the water molecule. The subsequent down stream effect of these coherently-oriented water molecules provides the electric potential which supplies the energy necessary to form the more complex crystalline form of calcium carbonate, called aragonite
Also, do you use any of the stain pre-treaters that the manufacturer recommends for tough stains? Has it occurred to you that those treatments are in fact concentrated detergent, and that it’s not the magnets that are getting your clothes clean, but rather the detergent?
One of the hallmarks of scam artists is that they are always friendly, personable, and accommodating in person. Deeply ingrained in most people’s psyches is the subconscious belief that people who “seem nice” are more trustworthy. Scam artists capitalize on this belief to make it easier to pull the wool over people’s eyes.
But on sweat stains, detergent did a whopping 14 percent better at cleaning than Crystal Wash or water. This is, in our opinion, Crystal Wash’s greatest failing: Since clothes are worn by people, they almost always get sweat stains. Unless you’re okay with wearing dingy shirts with yellowed armpits, you should stick with detergent.
After complaints, Trade-Net’s claims were investigated by consumer protection departments in Utah, Oregon and Florida, amongst others, and the company was prohibited from making certain claims, including that “such product cleans as well as conventional laundry detergent”. Trade-Net offered a ‘new’ laundry ball product after this, but were forced to pay fines,[15] including $190,000 to Oregon’s Department of Justice, $10,000 to Utah and then in April 1999, $155,000 to the states of New York, Arizona, Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma and the FTC. The company disappeared shortly thereafter.[16] The Federal Trade Commission has levied fines against other companies for similar fraudulent claims.[17] However, other companies kept selling similar products over the Internet.[18]
One of the pluses of traditional detergent is it’s ability to help cover up less appealing odors, such as those that come from sweaty gym clothes.  For this I had the perfect test.  My husband has workout clothes that he’s been using for going on 10 years.

“Purchase Laundry Magnets United Kingdom Review laundry magnets scam”

I have found that the skin irritation from laundry detergent is from the fragrance. I cannot be in the same room as a box of Gain detergent. I use the kind without perfume. I remember when most homes had a bar of Naptha soap for laundry, it worked great.
In order to get the most out of your magnetic laundry system experience, you have to work out the solution in an informed manner. It is a fact that the magnetic laundry system is bound to provide you great benefits but improper use might not just yield the kind of results that you so much need. This article ideally focuses on the major considerations that you have to keep in mind so that you can get the most out of your washing experience.
Everything you need to do is stick to a couple of the magnets in your washer….and you don’t have to worry about whatever your detergent is doing to the drain field, or also adding one more big jug to the recycling bin each week. It is the safe and all the natural cleaner, also replaces the chemical liquid and the powder HE detergent and the soap. This product will help with the allergies and also chemical sensitivities to the detergents. It will work under the unique means of the water maintenance through the direct application of the magnetic force. This product is the chemical free and clear. This product will work in all the kinds of the washing machines. This unit might end up in sticking together in the washing process. This product is absolutely normal and does not eradicate the effectiveness because it will emit the equal amount level of the magnetic force whether you are attracted to together or not. In this product, the laundry units only require being submerged or in the close proximity to the water for highly-effective.
Every cell in the human body can be viewed as a small magnetic unit. This property is present in all organs. Each cell produce its own magnetic field. Any disturbance in this magnetic field indicates a disorder. This equilibrium can be restored-with the help of magnets according to many researchers.
The claim of alkalization is dubious. While it is true that the alkaline agents in normal washing powders catalyze the tensides, there are no studies suggesting that the washing pearls would affect the pH of the water, especially for a duration of several thousand washes. The pH of water is not just some magical property: it is caused by ions dissolving in water; to affect the pH significantly, these “pearls” would have to dissolve quite a proportion of their material into the water, and if they could dissolve to that degree, you’d be lucky to get one wash, never mind a thousand.
The pitch for these laundry balls gets more baroque over time, but basically the theory is that by using magnets, the balls rip apart clusters of water molecules that form naturally by magnetic attraction. When these clusters are ripped apart, creating “activated” or “structured” water, it makes it easier for individual water molecules to get at the junk you’re trying to remove from your dirties. All without expensive, damaging, and unhealthy chemical detergents.
I have continued to use the MLS, so as of this writing, it’s been about two whole months. Which in our home is many, many loads of laundry.  Any clothing items with persistent stink have not gotten stinkier, but may have some remaining stink, which I keep under control by using the MLS along with the Atsko detergent I review here.  Or if something does seem to get stinky, I run it with Atsko.  And, of course, if the item can tolerate hot water that will go a long way.
This statement confuses the bonding within H2O and the much weaker intramolecular hydrogen bonding that operates between molecules. Within H2O, each oxygen is permanently bonded to two hydrogen atoms. Connections between the hydrogen of one molecule and the oxygen of another are so weak that they are continually being broken by thermal motions and re-formed. Only in ice can one attribute a permanent structure to the water that extends beyond a single molecule.
A more recent product is the Bev Wizard Wine Enhancer whose promoters claim (with no supporting evidence) that the magnetic field causes negatively-charged tannins to coagulate. See this Decanter article on this dubious device.
“The water has a better taste that occurs from an actual reduction in the size of the water molecules. Compare it to a bucket full of the size of pebbles versus the size of sand. The pebbles will bang around like rocks while the sand will pour like water.
Over eleven years after the first patent behind this product was filed, there isn’t a single washing-machine manufacturer in the entire world selling a machine which uses this technology to clean clothes. Is that plausible if it really works?
You guys need to do something about your communications process. Very poor. If I have to wait six weeks like one post said, let me know. I’ve only waited 10 days with no word-inexcuseable. I really wa…nt to try the magnets, but you are not making it easy. Not really a way to run a business. See More
We came to a solid conclusion: When it comes to stain removal, Crystal Wash does not work any better than hot water. And, when it comes to some important stains, Crystal Wash often works far worse than laundry detergent.
[Here’s the fascinating thing: Life Miracle had an outside laboratory do such tests over ten years ago. The laboratory washed identically stained clothes without detergent, both with and without the Magnetic Laundry System, and then measured how much cleaner they were. ]
When the perfume is absorbed by the body it can spell trouble in the form of environmental sensitivities. Some of those red eyes and runny noses are not because of allergies, but due to the perfume and detergents left behind in our clothes.

“Purchase Amazon Magnetic Laundry System California laundry magnets work”

Buy one and you can use it for 1,500, 3,000, maybe even 4,000 or more loads of laundry. Skip the rinse cycle, never pay another dime for detergent, save the planet and keep harsh chemicals out of your lot of articles appearing in the technical (as opposed to peer-reviewed scientific) literature are written by people whose apparent ignorance of physics and chemistry leads them to concoct unrealistic theories of how MWT might work.
Buy the magnetic laundry system right now!Our magnetic laundry detergent alternative balls are great for cleaning the clothes of infants young children and people with chemical substance sensitiveness and allergic reactions.
Recent advances in water science has shown us that powerful magnetic fields like magnetic laundry system can make water more effective at cleaning, leaving you with clothes that are not only clean but super soft because they are chemical residue free.
That depends on your definition of “clean” and “bright”.  When comparing the usage of the Magnetic Laundry System with laundry detergent, you need to factor in a few things…  We define clean as chemical-free, non-harmful to the wearer and non-toxic to the environment, in addition to being optically acceptable.  But only you, the user and owner of the product can determine that.
“Warning! Your Laundry May Be Making YOU SICK!” according to this page. Asthma, allergies, cancer, dizziness, headaches, skin rashes, resperatory infections, acne, lack of energy and insomnia are listed as potential hazards of non-magnetic detergents.
Most magnetic water and fuel treatment systems appear to be marketed through independent distributors who sell out of their homes. An Internet search using the keywords magnetic treatment reveals dozens of independent distributor home pages. Very few such devices are offered by national chain stores or advertised in mail-order catalogs. Possibly, the magnetic-device manufacturers sell through independent distributors to insulate themselves from some of the more exotic claimed benefits of magnetic treatment, or perhaps consumer and wholesaler skepticism has kept magnetic treatment out of mainstream retail. Regardless of the reasons, magnetic water and fuel treatment devices are not usually available at the local hardware or automobile parts supply store. This lack of wide availability has given magnetic water and fuel treatment a sort of fringe-science status in the minds of many consumers. Whether this label is deserved is the subject of this article.

For those of us who live in apartment buildings with community laundry or who trek to the laundromat each week, this process has very few perks. The one thing I count on is being able to do all the loads of laundry I need at one time. Because I only purchased one set of magnets, I was glad I still had regular detergent on hand for the two other loads of laundry I started at the same time. It would get very pricey to purchase multiple sets!
Hard water is often undesirable because the dissolved minerals can form scale. Scale is simply the solid phase of the dissolved minerals. Some hardness minerals become less soluble in water as temperature is increased. These minerals tend to form deposits on the surfaces of water heating elements, bathtubs, and inside hot water pipes. Scale deposits can shorten the useful life of appliances such as dishwashers. Hard water also increases soap consumption and the amount of “soap scum” formed on dishes.
The Green Bar takes a different tack — instead of structuring water, it uses “neodymium bio transmitters” which “removes the propensities of calcium and magnesium to cling to foreign objects” although a “chemical analysis of the water would detect no difference.”
Thank you for your posting.I did not purchase these products because of folks such as yourself showing the truth. Are these not the same or similar products that James Randi proved only contained blue food dyed water and weak magnets not strong enough to change water polarity or some such thing?Companies that rip people off get away with FAR too much in the US,and far too much meaning “anything at all that rips ppl off, this company, telemarketer scams, infomercial products, all of it. Sickening! Appreciate what you do and wrote here.Thank you. From Alana
But the magnets stay “stuck” (magnetized) to the walls, which are metal, so there’s no friction. And they don’t change the molecular structure of water (which would be scary), but the charge. I’m no expert, that’s why I had my sister and her family try it out! And with excellent results! Placebo effect? Could be, but she has a little boy who sure dirties things. Maybe I’ll have her try doing a load minus the magnets to see her thoughts. I’ll post back my her reaction to this experiment if she goes along with it.
I didn’t tell anybody I had made this purchase. The whole idea seemed silly. But, my wife’s skin has allergic reactions to clothes detergents and so we have been paying a lot of attention to what is actually in those products. I figured the price point was low enough that I might as will try magnets to clean clothes.
This 2001 report describes a survey of 106 technical papers on MWT and presents detailed summaries of the 34 articles that were judged to meet the scientific criteria established by the group. None of these articles addressed the question of whether or not MWT or PWT “works”, nor was this judgment made by the Task Force, whose main objective was simply to bring together scientifically useful information that might inform further research in the field.
I’ve ordered some for my sister (I can’t mail order anything for myself cuz I live in Italy and the postal service can’t be trusted!!), so maybe I can post back with my sister’s comments as soon as she gets it.
Best Answer:  I understand why you’d want to check this out, I have kids and a dog and a husband in construction, so I know about dirty laundry too. This so looks like one of those scams. Really, how could magnets take out all the soil and stains in your laundry. If that would work, you could do it yourself by hand with any magnet you had at home! It’s very easy to make up things on the internet and make up phony quotes that sound good. Here’s a link by a chemist who researches phony science and scientific claims:
A more recent product is the Bev Wizard Wine Enhancer whose promoters claim (with no supporting evidence) that the magnetic field causes negatively-charged tannins to coagulate. See this Decanter article on this dubious device.
One purveyor of MFT poppycock makes the absurd claim that their magnetic device “puts a strong, positive charge into the fuel”, and they even offer a set of three magnets for the fuel system, radiator water (!) and air intake (!!) The site makes numerous claims about fuel savings and emissions reduction, quotes many “testimonials” and even some performance data which I consider inadequately documented and find very difficult to take seriously. They claim that their magnets employ “mono-pole technology”, which to me implies the use of monopolar magnets, although no such magnet is known to science; another page on the same vendor’s site describes their fudging on this matter but offers no supporting evidence or references to what they refer to as “magnetic single focus”.
If particles are actually precipitated, it should be possible to observe them, either by direct collection in a micropore filter or indirectly by light-scattering methods (nephthelometry), but there are no apparent reports of this.

A.  Again, the MLS is a laundry detergent alternative only.  Laundry detergent is not used to kill microorganisms, and neither is the Laundry System, but the cleaning process itself washes away most bacteria. However, hot water will kill most microorganisms in the water, and a little bleach will do the same (although bleach works best at high temperatures).
I have a Meile washer and Dryer front loads and can only use Purcell boxed soap and have no problems coming clean and always wash with cold water, never hot and they come out clean!!So Iwill stick with my Purcell soap and only need a 1/2 oz of soap!!no magnets for me!!I do like the nana towels to clean glass computer and I pad screens and windows, fire place glass ,microwave glass door and my glasses I wear love those towels!!
One of the key features of the laundry ball’s technology is its ability to restructure water “clusters” (molecule groups). Water molecules come in clusters rather than single molecules. Tap water has very large clusters (10 to 14 molecules per cluster).  SmartKlean is designed to reduce large tap water clusters from their original size into so called ‘micro clusters’ (5 to 6 molecules per cluster).

Laundry balls were once sold by a Scientologist-owned company called Trade-Net. However, due to fraudulent advertising the company was forced to pay large fines to various US states, and it promptly collapsed.
Some manufacturers claim that the components inside their balls emit far infrared rays, which are claimed to reduce the surface tension of water and facilitate washing.[8] The claim of emitting infrared is not false, as almost all materials emit “far infrared waves” at room temperature, in other words, heat radiation.[4] It is also true that heating reduces the surface tension of water, but the effect of the radiation emitted by the balls is negligible compared to the radiation emitted by the internal walls of the washing machine or by the water, especially if it’s hot water.[4]
So anyway.  Here again we have a good case for why we should put more emphasis on teaching science.  Anyone who has taken an introductory high-school-level physics course would be able to explain why the only way magnets would clean your clothes is if they were covered with iron filings.  For getting anything else washed clean — especially anything oily — you need a surfactant.
Cool post Carmentina. I’ve never heard of it before, but I’m going to look into it to see if it’s safe. If it is, I would love to use it since it sounds wonderful!!! If I ever try them, I will let you know how well they work. :o)
My first load came out smelling like…..nothing.  Which is great!  I used and continued to use cold water, though the company says hot water is best.  Over time we had a few “normal” stains that came out.  But then one day, I was faced with the ULTIMATE was test:  CAT PEE!
Not only are these magnets pure bullshit, but they are reminiscent of another laundry scam that was making the rounds of fairs and trade shows about 7 or 8 years ago. The fraudsters were selling a pair of plastic balls with little spikes or nubs on them. The balls were filled with a liquid that even the salesmen admitted was just water. They claimed, without really explaining how, that these balls were somehow able to clean your laundry without any soap, because they “made water wetter”. That was their tag line that they repeated over and over. They charged $75 for the set of 2 balls. I walked away without buying, and a few months later I read a scientific of these balls conducted by Consumer Reports. For those unaware, CR is very reliable and reputable, and they do not accept any advertisements or other corporate money. They are completely independent. CR compared loads washed with only the “magic balls” and water with loads washed only in water, and loads washed the regular way with detergent and water. They also did many loads using each method, using actually human-worn clothing. Volunteers wore the clothes, and had CR wash them when they got dirty. I seem to recall they washed each dirty load 20 times, not in a row, but every time it became dirty, and did this with each method. The results were that the detergent-washed clothes were clean (quite predictably), from first wash to last wash. The water-only loads seemed fairly clean at first, but toward the end of the experiment, the researchers noticed that the laundry loads were starting to look gray, and the clothes were becoming a bit stinky. The most interesting part of this experiment is that the laundry loads washed with water and the $75 balls, turned out just the same way as the water-only loads: all right at first, but later dingy and smelly.
Magnets are not just for refrigerators any more. In fact, according to some magnet vendors, magnets can be used to improve blood circulation, cure and prevent diseases, increase automobile mileage, improve plant growth, soften water, prevent tooth decay, and even increase the strength of concrete. Some of these claims are backed by experimental evidence. Many are not. This article focuses specifically on the claimed benefits of magnetically treated fuel and water.
A laundry ball is a ball-shaped object said to clean clothes by mechanical action when used in a washing machine, obviating the need for detergent (note that these are different from the anti-static laundry balls that go in your clothes dryer). Tests have shown they don’t work any better than plain water. They are often sold by multilevel marketing operations (and now Kickstarter too!).
Overall this Magnetic Laundry System was strongly recommended and used by many people like you and me. Ever since there have been cars, various schemes for achieving miraculous increases in fuel mileage have been promoted to the public. (Who has not heard the folk-fiction that somebody’s invention for running a car on water was secretly bought up by the oil companies?)
Let’s give Structured Waters Technology a chance to explain: “A type of positive — negative charge causes the water molecules to form clusters. The clusters generate a point-to-point charge variation within the water that makes it highly sensitive to electromagnetic fields. This unique electronic organization of water molecules creates the electrovibrational resonance that we call Structured Water Technology.” ($99 U.S. for one, or $379.97 for a six-pack.)
Magnetism is a mysterious phenomenon to most people, and even many of us who have taken a few courses in college physics often don’t feel we really “understand” it. In the 19th century, hucksters and scam artists were taking advantage of the public’s ignorance of magnetism by offering fraudulent magnetic products to treat everything from baldness to impotence, and an even wider variety of magical wonders are being hawked over the Internet nowadays.
A good example is the very well-written but scientifically dubious 1997 article Quinn C. J., Sanderson C. W, Molden, T.C, “Magnetic treatment of water prevents mineral build-up”, published in 8/97 Iron and Steel Engineer
NESI (Natural Environmental Solutions Inc. of Las Vegas, Nev, whose Web site, thankfully, recently disappeared) offered to “Magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy” — In addition to the usual water and fuel conditioners (including a magnetic showerhead that “Has Been Proven To Consistently Remove Over 90% Of Free Chlorine”, (starting every word with a capital letter presumably makes this more authoritative!) they offered a variety of Bio-Magnets that “magnetically enhance your body’s natural energy”, such as “Plaque fighting magnetic toothbrushes” (“Get teeth whiter and eliminate unslightly build up”), magnetic coffee cups, magnetic insoles (your choice of all-north or bipolar) and a Quartz Crystal Simulator (“High voltage stimulation ideal for on the spot use” ?!) .. or, for your dog, magnetic pet collars and a magnetic pet bed.
jlk, jlk, JLK!!! Thank you so much for this blog post — and you ARE hysterically funny — my problem is NOT!! I just received my “magic blue balls” in the mail today. (Ugh, gross; I fell for that??) I honestly think I ordered them online at the vulnerable hour of 4 a.m. (after being entranced by those two women talking waaay too much). Anyway — I have *no idea* how long ago I bought them — and I have a very good memory. You have argued clearly and convincingly that they are useless. As others have mentioned above, they come with no invoice, contact info, phone number — nothing. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RETURN THEM???
“… positively charged water gives energy and vitality. The negatively charged water (magnetized with the North pole of a permanent magnet) have a higher surface tension as the bonding lengths shorten under the contracting magnetic influence. This negatively charged water can be used to accelerate the healing process, at the same time gives a calming and relaxing effect. ”

I’m thinking of marketing a somewhat similar product: Dihydrogen monoxide. For all that’s been written about its alleged dangers, DHMO is actually a quite benign solvent and a normal component of the atmosphere — you can actually drink small quantities of the stuff without harm.
Magnetic Disks : Higher Capacity, reliable,, Cheaper… use cool neodymium magnets, They are really fast Optical : Expensive, Lower capacity, uses lasers which go weaker by time, They are slower Result : Winner is none of these, Both are important as Optical disks are used as CD, DVDs etc and Magnetic Disks are used in standard Hard disks

Most people use too much detergent, because (a) most people are careless about measuring the detergent and (b) the detergent manufacturers tell people to use more than they actually need to get the clothes clean.
Life Miracle’s magnetic laundry system is one of the latest trends in green cleaning: chemical-free laundry. Although more research is needed, some studies and activists have raised concerns about ingredients in laundry detergents. I wasn’t down for the Pinterest route of making my own detergent, but I thought this option might be worth a try.
If you know that it may in fact be “just the water” that’s cleaning your clothes, which is indeed the whole point of my exposé of the Magnet Laundry System, then why would you be “happy to use the laundry magnets”? Why would you be happy to pay for something you don’t actually need? Why not just wash in plain water and not waste your money on the magnets?
Does it occur to you to wonder why, if the fact that magnets can clean clothes has been known for years, there isn’t a single washing machine manufacturer anywhere in the world selling a unit which has built-in magnets to get the clothes clean? Do you think there is a vast global conspiracy funded by the laundry detergent manufacturers?

¿Sabes contestar a:
